Forest green XS Max case with about 9 months of just regular daily use. It’s gotten a lot darker, especially in the last couple months. I like that I can still tell it’s green, but it’s almost getting too dark for my tastes.

That's how my first midnight blue case was on my X. It pretty much looked black once it had developed a good patina. This year's shade was a lot lighter.

Wow! Thanks for sharing these pictures. I've been eagerly waiting for someone to post pictures of the forest green after long-term use. It almost looks like a completely different color. I really love the color when it's new, but this color looks pretty nice, too. I wonder if there is a product that would freeze the color once it reaches the level you like.

Sorry, I think the photos I posted last night of my forest green came out too dark due to the lighting or whatever reason (darker than the case actually looks). Here‘s another one, in better light -and more accurate of the color after 9 months use- and then one outside in direct sunlight just for fun.

This color is amazing. I would love to have a car in this color. The color of your case kind of reminds me of the 2019 Honda Pilot Elite's black forest pearl color.

Xs max saddle brown two months of daily use. No conditioners, oils, sanding, etc. Have been holding my phone more lately reading books. Also, it sat out in the sun for a couple of hours at a barbecue.

That went patine really fast

Yes it did. In all fairness, I can’t say for sure the darkness is “patina” in the classical sense. Sunburned is a better word I think.

I tried the Nomad Rugged Case a while back and didn't like it so I purchased my first Apple leather case. I've been using Moment lenses for a while now, and I really don't like their cases. Wanting a leather case for daily use, I would just use the Moment case whenever I knew I was going to use the lenses. So I decided to give Nomad Rugged case with the Moment mount a try. I don't know if they changed how they made them, but I love this case. It feels totally different from the case I tried a year ago.

All these forest green cases make me wanna buy one too, but I'm afraid of the exposed bottom. Does the phone scratch easily there?

I find that if I do get any scratches on the bottom or other edges, I use Cape Cod metal polishing cloths. They easily polish out surface scratches and make the edges look like new again.

Managed to finally bag a Forest Green case!

One popped up on eBay this evening, used for only a week back on October and has been stored since. Seller had order confirmation to prove. It looks brand new by the pics - should have it Tuesday/Wed will post when I get it!

I like the black leather- I had it in my 7, my X and my XS Max for a few weeks.

Decided to go for a bit of colour now though

I also really like the black. I’m just not crazy about how it wears - kind of grays out in the wear areas. I usually put some black shoe polish on it to keep it looking all black.
