I have the black Apple leather case but Got the Olive Mujjo leather case for my gold XS Max today - I was desperate for the Forest Green Apple case but cannot get one for love nor money.

Stunning case and the leather feels so much more premium than Apple’s. I love it at the moment, I’ll give it a few days to see if I decide to keep it. Only thing I wish it did have was the aluminium buttons.

Looking at getting it (or the Sunset Orange) as I’m looking for a new case but wondering if people think it’s too much of a feminine colour? I’ve seen it in person at the store and it’s actually a really toned down shade with some gray hue’s, but wanted to hear people’s thoughts if they got it

I have it. It's a pretty color. Honestly, after about 6 mins, you won't see the gray. You'll only see the purple. I like it but it patinas HORRIBLYYYYY.

I got the Saddleback Leather iPhone case today and so far really like it. It’s not the usual type of refined Apple leather case that I usually prefer. Instead, it’s rugged looking and perfectly imperfect as it’s made by hand - just leather - wet formed to fit the phone. The leather feels great in the hand and kind of hugs the phone. I’ll update again after I’ve used it for a few weeks.

Ever since I watched a video on how these cases are made I’ve been thinking about grabbing one. The all leather aspect is intriguing. I love my Apple saddle brown, but if something happens to her I’d definitely check one of these out.

I had the saddle brown Apple case and was just getting a nice patina on it when I dropped it and a chuck ripped from the corner. It protected the phone nicely but looked pretty crappy with the hole on the corner.

The Saddleback case is way different from the Apple case. It is rugged, imperfect and thicker than the Apple case. I really had to get my head around expectations before I ordered it. I’m usually so picky with even the tiniest of flaws. But seeing the video of how it’s made and knowing it’s really one of a kind is pretty cool. And as rough and rugged as it is, I love it.

I bought their last one that they had in stock. So now I can swap back and forth between the smooth and refined Apple case to the Saddleback rugged case when I want to feel like the Wild West.

Went ahead and got the Sunset Leather Folio.

It’s a bit darker and more subdued than I would’ve liked (it’s almost a leather version of nectarine silicone), but still an alright colour

Thanks guys! I saw the Lilac Folio in store and was really close to choosing it (Apple Store employee said it matches the colour of ties that several businessmen he sees wear), but went with Sunset in the end.

I do point out the Folio actually has a two toned colour look. So the outside of the case and wallet flap is coloured like Nectarine Silicone (darker) but the actual case holding the phone is coloured like Papaya Silicone (lighter). It is a pretty nice contrast. I do like Bright Orange Leather from last year a bit better but this is pretty good too.

I’m looking forward to seeing how it ages. I’m actually off to The Netherlands for a few weeks to visit some friends, and Orange is like the national colour there, so should be pretty fitting!

Erm I hold the case in my hand with four fingers (ie open palm), then operate/browse the screen with my thumb - its workable one handed operation, don't really see a detriment here.

It depends what your everyday use for the phone is - it suits mine for light picture taking, and that I prefer NOT to type on the go but rather read/browse, so when I do reply messages or whatever I can just sit and use two hands.

To me, being able to carry a few physical cards in there for quick use is something I hugely benefit from , so I'm happy to work with any downsides of it. I really like how it turns on the screen automatically (and lock when you close it), like an iPad Smart Cover

I tried the Forest Green folio case initially, and really wanted to like it, but had the same issue with one-handed use. There was too much slack in the fold for it to be practical for me. The XS Max is already quite large and with the drooping, it became cumbersome. Leather quality and color were fantastic though (like the poster above said, it was almost 2 tone, inside and outside).

Differences are - it has pebbled leather that smells like leather. The pebbled grain also gives better grip. The case actually goes on and off the phone easier but still hugs the phone. The camera hole is bigger but centered nicely. The buttons are leather and not metal and they are very tactile. I like this case enough that I bought another for a spare.

If I had one suggestion for the Haxford company, it would be to make their logo on the case smaller.

I highly recommend this high quality leather case!

Front bezels are tight and clean - less rippling of the leather at the corners than the Apple cases. The case also actually feels easier to put on and take off the phone. But yet it still feels tight enough. With the Apple case, I feel that I have to be super careful with the bottom edges so not to scuff them as they are so tight against the phone when removing or putting it on. I did scuff the inside edges of a black Apple case.

Unfortunately, the box is for sure fake. The leather logo is off, the font is off, and the spacing between words and between lines is inconsistent. It’s all close, but not quite right. The case looks alright, but given the box, it's probably fake as well.
