Unfortunately, the box is for sure fake. The leather logo is off, the font is off, and the spacing between words and between lines is inconsistent. It’s all close, but not quite right. The case looks alright, but given the box, it's probably fake as well.

Genuine Apple:

Agreed.

If you zoom into the camera hole on the case, it’s off centre also and looks poorly cut.

The Apple logo has been embossed in a different way too.

Good enough game though- I love the colour. It’ll obviously be fake leather- mind sharing the eBay link as I might get one of those given the impossibility of getting a genuine one

Sure! I actually got a refund as its listed as genuine apple, so i got a free forest green case haha.

I dropped it the other day from about couch height on my friend's wooden floor and I got a little gash on one of the corners... so much better because now I don't care if it gets scuffed, etc.

Once every few weeks, and when swapping colors.

Love my Mujjo Olive green case but noticing that with more and more use, it’s become very sticky and grippy which I’m not keen on.

Gone back to an Apple case and grabbed a midnight blue

This thread has influenced me to try the saddle brown.. order comes in tomorrow. Ill update the patina progress with weekly pictures.

Only when I switch cases. In my experience, the big protective cases gather more dust/dirt inside than the Apple leather case. So once it’s on, it stays on until I’m done with it.

I did a quick wipe down of the leather case with a magic eraser and it made it much more grippy. Couldn’t stand that waxy layer.. i did notice that there was some orange color that transferred over to the eraser though.

Forest green XS Max case with about 9 months of just regular daily use. It’s gotten a lot darker, especially in the last couple months. I like that I can still tell it’s green, but it’s almost getting too dark for my tastes.
