What I find strange is that particularly on threads posted in the News section, you get a lot of posters jumping on them to bash or praise the product/service/Apple itself, but those same users don't seem to be active in the specific forums related to those things. I guess a lot of people are here just to discuss the main news topics themselves.

I have one of these and have been using it these past two days. It’s best thought of as a cardholder that magnetically attaches to your phone (if you wish it to). You can reach into your pocket and slide the wallet of your phone to use it and then return it to the back of your phone in your pocket, if you like the idea of keeping everything together. It’s also very nice to use the iPhone with the wallet attached, as the wallet provides extra grip.

Personally, I love it, and due to the various wallet / case colour combinations, it adds a level of customisation to the iPhone that I appreciate (rather like the Apple Watch with its different bands etc).

Spot on, this is how I've been using mine since I got it at weekend.

Got the wallet yesterday.

things I like...stays on really well (using with the silicone apple case), blue wallet looks fantastic with blue silicone case.

things I don’t like....front of sleeve goes up to the top of your cards, and since the fit is so tight you got to detach the wallet to remove a card.

I am a big card ninja fan. I’m actually considering cutting the front of the Apple wallet off, just leaving the back magnetic plate and attaching a card ninja to that.

I wonder if the wallet might adhere better to the leather case that apple is rumored to release soon.

Also wondering if the pro Mac might have better magnets or if some batches of the wallet have weaker magenta than others.
 
Canceled my online order today and drove 2h to my nearest Apple Store for pick up. Love the design and feel of the wallet, it screams premium.

Magnets stronger than some youtubers shows but not rock solid.

Have been placed on my iPhone for 12h now and no falling off once, even with my ”slimmy” (name of the model) jeans.

Really pleased with it, now my cards will go back to my daily Secrid wallet and I will use this MagSafe Wallet as I intended, now and then when I will travel/go light in my day.

After a day or so of having it I’d say it’s a good product with certain limitations. If you use it as a slim card holder with magnets you’ll like it. If you think it’s a replacement for folio cases then nah. Not that strong.

Got the wallet and like it but hate that I have to remove the wallet to take out a card. Wonder why Apple did it like this?

Interesting. I don’t think this is an issue meaning I would probably prefer to always take it off.

Still nothing here in France, my 3/11-10/11 dates hasn’t changed at all. Pretty unusual from Apple as they usually ship at earlier dates then originally announced.
all stores are closed here in France so no alternatives.

I'm scheduled to pick my wallet up at a store in Washington DC today at 1PM (assuming it doesn't close early because of potential post election chaos).

Original shipping date I got was first week of December, but they randomly popped up to be available for pickup so cancelled my original order.
