I never forget my phone, but I do forget or lose my wallet on occasion. As my wife would attest, I am bad at leaving my wallet in my pants. Having my wallet connected to my phone helps solve that problem. Also I have already been scaling down what I carry. I rarely carry cash and the only cards I have to have on me are my driver license, CC, and ATM card. My insurance cards are digital, I only carry my corporate CC when traveling for business, and there is nothing else I need for daily use.

I did try wallet cases in the past, but I did not like the bulk they added. I like that this wallet can be removed when I am home.
I’ve been using a slim “magic wallet” for the past couple of years so I’ve grown accustom to carrying 3-4 cards so it shouldn’t be an issue for me, but I have a tendency to loose my car keys more than my wallet so that’s a whole different problem :). I have several wireless chargers throughout the house so having to remove the wallet to charge my phone will probably mean I’ll end up keeping the wallet separate from my phone unless I’m out running errands. Still I’m excited to give this a try to see how it works out for me.

Anyone using the wallet on a naked phone, what are your thoughts? Consensus seems to be that it’s a stronger connection with a case, do you feel it’s stronger because of a better connection or it’s down to more friction provided by a case as opposed to the naked glass back.

If you are drunk or feeling stupid you can always post your magsafe wallet for sale on ebay.

They are asking stupid prices on eBay and they are not selling either

I picked up my saddle brown MagSafe wallet this morning, and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised by how strong the wallet attaches to my iPhone leather case. I was skeptical and expecting it to become loose but it definitely stays put. The saddle brown compliments the Baltic blue leather case very nicely. Really happy with is so far!

Anyone have the Baltic Blue in the saddle brown leather and want to post a pic? I’m picking up the Baltic Blue tomorrow and am curious how it will look.

Exact same combo I have. It’s sharp!

My thoughts exactly. I have both the leather case and the silicon. My initial thoughts were the silicon is a better magnet. Trying the leather now with the brown leather wallet, very solid.

Wouldn’t it be better in your case to have a phone case with a sleeve/wallet built in? You could just as easily loose the apple wallet once it pops off the phone. Just curious.

Edit: I didn’t read further down your post where you don’t like the added bulk. My apologies.

Stronger connection with a case on for certain. Seems like it pops right off when the phone is naked.

So I have a 12 pro max with the apple leather case, and this wallet sticks on to it beautifully. I thought it would move out of place easily like in some videos. What you have to do is find the sweet spot for connection n it holds it pretty tight, but if u move it off the spot then you have to take it off and find the right placement again or it’ll be easy to move like in some review videos...this is awesome! My only wish was that I did the reverse on the colors I have

I just picked up my Baltic Blue at the Apple Store. The worker there said "wow this is a rare find, hard to get". Anyway, I find it extremely difficult to pull the cards out. To the point that I have to have my ATM card facing down so my fingernail catches the raised numbers and gives me leverage. Anyone else notice this?

Here is the pic with the Saddle Brown Leather case on my Black

Are you removing from the phone first? The hole on the back is to aid removing of cards.
