I’m not talking about the uranium story. I’m talking about the Steele dossier. The details in that dossier came from Russian sources and were used to start an investigation in to the Trump campaign. That is collusion... with Russians.

The Dossier was obtained legally. It could have been shady, but it was legal. And Trump will be the first to tell you that, just like he did Hillary; "If you don't like the laws, change them". (Referring to his being able to shadily - but legally (as far as we know) - skating on taxes.

And if that is collusion, surely you agree Drumpf Jr., Kushner and Manafort meeting with a self-proclaimed Russian informer who they believed had dirt on Hillary is collusion as well. That, I will cop to. However, the dossier was legally obtained. That is the key thing.

See, read my posts. I said it was legal. And yes Donald Jr meeting with a Russian claiming to have dirt was collusion. By definition. I’m not mad abut collusion on either side. It’s not illegal. My problem is with team Hillary people inside the justice department knowingly using unverified information and lying and saying it was verified to open an investigation into Trump. That’s not how the justice system is supposed to work.

See, read my posts. I said it was legal. More than once.

This is a large thread, I only read the post I quoted. Ok, so she got a legal dossier. If that's collusion, then what is a secret meeting that was lied about featuring three of the top people in Trump's campaign, two of them family members, with a few Russians, one an informant to the Kremlin? And why lie about that meeting?

I edited my post you replied to just now regarding what was done that I take issue with.

The funny thing is that the Mujahideen directly morphed into Al-Qaeda when the US didn't leave Saudi Arabia as they promised...which directly brought us 9/11.

So it's funny that it's not the Taliban, but instead monsters of our own creation (like most terrorist organizations whom are useful to us until they're not). Remember, these "freedom fighters" are the guys that Rocky III pays homage to in the ending credits.

There were unintended consequences, as always, but the enemy of my enemy as they say. I don't think I would agree that it directly morphed, but as the bickering elements of it began to fight amongst themselves after the Soviets evacuated, bin Laden took advantage of the chaos. He transformed their cause and took it worldwide. Never let a good crisis go to waste. He and Rahm must have read the same books.

Rambo III, I think you mean? (Though Rocky III's ending is probably my favorite from that series)

:p I can't tell any of that Stallone crap apart.

You do know that those “decapitation” portraits showed a scene from the Bible, right? The same scene portrayed by many artists over the last 500 years?
yeah, and it's also not an endorsement of the act, it's a reflection on the tension between white and black women, from the black point of view; who knows, maybe related to black men who forsake their own race for another when choosing a mate. in any case, it's a tough subject, without clear rights and wrongs, and is being addressed in art because.. that's what art is for. only, if you're so doltish and ignorant and racist yourself it will likely go over your head as your head isn't interested in truth or depth of character or culture. now, i must confess, i don't much LIKE the presidential portrait myself. but. that's another subject. i can still respect obama's choice, it is definitely a statement - a hip, black, controversial, gay artist, with african (nigerian) heritage, like obama (kenyan). a perfectly appropriate choice from our youngest and best president in decades. ymmv. obv. :D

Man. At least check to see if your hysterical claim has been debunked before you post it.

However, you knew they weren't Taliban when you posted it, didn't you?

You know full well that the artwork by the Obama 'artist' is anti-white, militant fantasy art. Calling it similar to the theme presented in all of your 'Biblical' examples is disingenuous. However, you already know that.

It’s not “similar in theme” to my examples. It is showing the exact same scene as my examples. The artist’s title for the painting is the name of the biblical story in question. Objections to the painting just because it shows a black protagonist is inherently racist.

They did not call themselves Taliban then. But you know as well as I do those “freedom fighters” were pieces of s**t who later turn Afghanistan into what it is today. Point is other presidents have associated with questionable people at one point or another. Doesn’t automatically make them the same or responsible for what someone else did.

Well the endless wars and occupations were responsible for the state of Afghanistan long before the Taliban was formed. The Taliban arose from the shattered remains and burning ashes of the Mujahideen infighting after the Soviet withdrawal. As to your last point, all nations at all times in history have associated with questionable people at one time or another to further their national interests and in rare moments, the better interests of the world, see The Allies associating with the Soviets during WW2.

And is t that portrait a take on Caravaggio’s original Judith Beheading Holofernes?? (If I remember my art history correctly)

I believe that is the argument of those defending Kehinde Wiley's 'decapitation' painting, yes.

Glad to have some many opinions on something that apparently is meaningless to a majority of thread repliers...and then people on here wonder why it went from "Mac"Rumors to..whatever the hell it is. Lol

Can't this asshat just go away

Personally, I’d been okay if Obama could have done additional terms.
Me too, in jail.
Nothing more than a corrupt Monsanto sock puppet

I have zero interest in watching any former President have a show.... regardless of political affiliation. Zero. Zip. Nada.

Agreed. What could a former president have to say that I would be even remotely interested in? Regardless of political affiliation, any living former president of the united states will be someone who perpetuated war, eroded personal liberty, expanded wealth inequity, and suppressed the rights of other nations to self-determination in the quest for global American corporate domination (of course, Obama included). No thanks.

Except for the fact that Nazis based on the history and actions of their groups in America their speech could and should be considered threats of violence. If I am openly carrying a gun and saying I want you dead, I want your family dead, I want your relatives dead and My friends and I going to kill you would you still defend my right to free speech?
Credible threats are illegal, and nobody defends them. Saying something like "I wish you / your people were dead" is legal, only you'll entice the FBI to watch you.

La Raza, as used by the two advocacy groups, means "the people" or "the community."

The left betrayed many of us who believe in secular values they chose to side with a certain religious group and promoting their backward values. As per Obama he is not a good person despite his great smile.

To many, that is more than enough. Heartwarming

they don't see beyond headlines, and media and Hollywood fawning over him, without having a clue what he did policy wise except 'Obamacare was great' (it wasn't, if you had the pleasure of having anything to do with it, and weren't on a great employee plan for his 2 terms) and 'he got Bin Laden tho' but hating 45 and giving 91% negative press to him, and calling his supporters idiots and nazis.

it was more like 97% positive Obama coverage, and the remaining 3 was from Fox News

Sean Hannity lived rent free in Obama's brain too, don't forget. Look up how many times Obama has mentioned him in speeches, of course ridiculing and belittling him. Obama couldn't get over someone in the media not liking him. And they say Trump has an ego, and is over-the-top for 91% negative coverage, that has caused lots of people in real life to parrot media narrative. There are some people who hate him, and can think for themselves, but the people that hate him with a passion: its usually irrational imo especially this intensely especially after like 16 months and after as much as he has done, if you can look past CNN: breaking news, Stormy Daniels storm coming..

The extreme haters were angry day 1, and well before then, and they don't look at all to the past, for how he rose to power (he had a message, and his opponent remains a dumpster fire present day blaming everyone but herself and decimating the Democratic Party every time she opens her trap) or what gaps other politicians created.

media made it seem like Obama was a Tom Cruise/David Grohl actor/rockstar/Dalia Lama zen dude.

You had your fictitious superhero, and now you mad cause you're confused and refuse to acknowledge you been duped.

Or you're eagerly awaiting premium Barack Obama Netflix infotainment streaming. On the edge of your seat in excitement over this wonderful news. Look at you, complicit and obedient.
