My bad... I thought with a (major?) new release the US would be the first to have it up, after that, the rest of the galaxy...

it's pretty much simultaneous but sometimes our store comes back up a fraction earlier than the others (and it's normally very late/very early so traffic is a lot less - faster access for us geeks)

...

In the boxes was our weekly delivery with iPods in it.

...

we are all forgetting the bigger picture. why would apple have a "new ibook seminar" on the 10th (tomorrow) http://www.seminars.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/ASPRegistration.woa/wa/eventDetails?eventId=45540&s=300

so, logically we should have whatever new product is coming out (hopefully my sweet new macbook that i drastically need) either sometime today.

my guess would be at 10AM today to compensate for Huh-why-eee (hah, snort)

and yes, i was up at 3am waiting for apples site.

wholy canoli. I'm one of the people (if im the only one, sh*t) who waited for apples site at midnight. while chatting with a co-worker of mine, and taken into account the "ibook seminar", we decided that there are three things to watch for.

1. It will most likely be released on apples site on cupertino time

2. Apple won't put it on their home page right away, they have to test/debug the new modifications to their site.

3. The store will be "unavailable" for an hour or so while they implement the new additions (this is from a previous experience)

i posted this earlier, it was a tad popular. so, at 10am eastern time, if the apple sore goes down, or there is a shiny new macbook on the homepage of apple.com, i get to slap all the blasphemous non-believers

Anyhow, it doesn't matter, since we won't be seeing the MacBook today ;)

Yeah, that's all well and good, but proof would be nice. I'm not saying they don't exist (although 9GB doesn't sound right) but anyone could type that.

Oh cool, the boxes had video-enabled iPod nanos in them.

We are also waiting for proof. I just told you guys what he told us, I'm not saying it's proof.

Seriously, why do we even bother reporting what AI and Think Secret says these days? They must report its going to get released every week, then cover their backs with rubbish like this the day before. Its getting ridiculous. Heres an idea - lets just wait until the bloody thing is released.

Well this site is called MacRUMORS... if you dont like talking about rumors you shouldn't be here.

Mate, I'm not saying anything about you, I'm just sceptical of the post. Glad you are too.

what is this new nano business? as far as i know there have only been the 1, 2, and 4 gb versions. did i miss something?

Just stirring the pot - there was a post about new nanos on a German site and we are awaiting the proof/disproof.

has this been verified? my understanding is that the nano's didnt have the space for that hugeass chip that controls video and video out (like, to a tv)

It's a gag - demonstrating that typing something in a forum doesn't make it true. It'd be nice though. ;)

why o why has'nt the store gone down yet ??

o right - nothing today:mad:

Waaay too early, it's only 9:45pm. Last time something new came in the store went down around 11:00pm (6:00am Cupertino).

I thought the store, here in the UK at least, went offline about 1.30pm. (currently 12.45pm)

Yeah, that's not too bad a time. I'd say a little later, around 2pm your time.

Apple you are really begining to annoy me, great product, very ****** and distrustful marketing. I know that you guys at apple are spreading these rumors, it's free publicity, but this is plain stupid and annoying.. Stop! :(
