Very true, and hopefully not a let down. I wonder if they could double the GBs and keep the prices the same for the Nanos...

Why? It's only 5:45AM in Cupertino. It's been said over and over that the stores are never updated before 6, and sometimes not until 12 or so.MacSA said:I would have thought so.![]()

dekator said:C'mon guys, this is getting plain silly. Why don't the rumour-mills simply admit that they haven't got a clue. Yes, some speculation is bound to be correct. Black & White colour, slimmer form factor (not to mention Intel processors). Those are obvious possibilities. In the end, the rumour sites' guesses are as good (or bad) as anyone's. Only they claim, proclaim, name... what a shame![]()
Scartissue said:This is said through benefit of innocence, but surely the store goes down when there are batches of updates coming, like when a keynote is going on, rather than when a product is (and I use the term loosely) being announced relatively anonymously?
Anyway!

Meanwhile, the most [url="https://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/05/20060504200832.shtml"]recent updates to the MacBook rumor claims it will come in Black and White configurations, a slightly higher price point and a thinner form factor than current iBooks.

Apple's site is not yet updated for the day. Take a look at the "One Red Hot Offer" ad on the right. It reads: "... Hurry! Offer ends Monday, May 8."
Not that anything should be expected, but you're all jumping to conclusions. 6:05 Cali time.
Normally the Apple Store goes down at 8am ET/7am CT/6am MT/5amPT for most updates and refreshes. I think the only exception to this is an announcement out in California later in the day, but otherwise this is the way the online Apple Store normally works on days Apple products get updated.Tab said:Why?
