the reason for the straight parade would be the same as the gay one and that perhaps heterosexuals are getting very tired of the lgbt community wanting more than they or anyone should get.
What extra things is Gay Pride campaigning for that is annoying heterosexuals? Can you elaborate please?

Ask the cake store about that!
No idea what relevance that has???

Because the people which saw this at Disneyland did not think it’s was a family friendly thing to do, why did they do a sexual position in public anyways?, what does that have to do with a parade?
So how is this example linked to Gay Pride?

The cake store is relevant because he/she did not want to make a gay/lesbian food product and was being sued for it and the lgbt community were violating the owners rights.

It didn't, it was just a perverse show and made the lgbt community look terrible.

The gay and lesbian community has everything the heterosexuals have already, how much more do the need?

A public business refusing service based on discrimination leave themselves open to legal action. If they had refused because the customer was black, I think the majority would be on the customers side. Sexual orientation is the same situation as you’re discriminating against something a person has no control over.

The example you gave at Disneyland made certain individuals look terrible, not an entire community. How can you generalise so callously?

Until gay people are treated the same as straight people in society you will continue to see Pride taking place. I’ve never been beaten up or threatened for being straight or felt uncomfortable because some insecure **** thinks I’m weird because I’m not the same sexual orientation as them. There’s a massive problem still with condemnation and ridicule from pockets of society and your rather ironic criticisms prove my point perfectly.

Equality. To not be a Soldier booed at an RNC convention, not to be murdered... lots of "little" things.
Yeah, I don’t think they should be harmed either but it seems they are for a protected species which heterosexuals don’t get to have.

It was those two gay guys which were callous.

i would not stop them from buying a cake but that owner was Christian and his religion prevented him from doing it...if the lgbt community wants equal rights then they should treat others the same way.

We are the most protected group on the planet, you are making things up without anything to back it up.

So two gay men committed a lewd act and you blamed the entire Pride movement and suggested it looked terrible? Nice logic that one.

I don’t think any religion specifically says in its religious verses that they are not permitted to bake a cake for a Gay wedding. Asking for a product that people from other sexual orientations are allowed to buy is not special treatment, it’s asking for equal treatment. The unreasonable party here was the Christian who decided to discriminate and used their religion as an excuse because they were homophobic.

I did not blame the entire gay community but they say they are family friendly and that wasn’t being it.

Well that is just as bad however what the two men did was in a parade on Disneyland Main Street USA.

I think you are focusing too much on that one incident and it is skewing your perception of a movement that is followed by millions of people worldwide. As I said previously you can’t generalise an entire movement because of just ‘two people’. That would be like judging Christianity based on the actions of vicars that have committed child rape. It’s simply absurd.

I would argue that people who start experimenting by having sex with those of the same gender and who had previously been in a straight relationship are more than likely bisexual. I don’t think you can just persuade yourself to feel attracted to others of the same gender and sexual orientation has to come into play there.
I won't say "I would argue", but, instead, there's abundant evidence, even from testimonies by people inside the LGTB lobbying machinery, that what you like or dislike in sex can be influenced by your practices. Even not few pedophiles admit that they didn't feel any attraction to children until they got hooked by dirtier and dirtier sex with adults, which made them turn towards "new fields to explore".

So, just to refresh the point that started this subtopic, I told I was copying to the clipboard your affirmation that sex is in the genetics, for the next time somebody from the LGTB bloc (or outside it) practices sex in a "experiencing" fashion rather than driven by their genetics.

What do you mean when you say ‘many people from your band’? Is that me personally or a figure of speech for something else?
Yes, I'm not English-native, so my mistake: I meant bloc rather than band. So, I was referring to your ideological bloc.

There’s a consensus after many years of research that being gay is not something you become by experimenting. It’s not a choice or an addiction.

If you think that gay people are actually straight but got hooked on the same gender for some reason, you are so wrong it’s not even funny.

I don’t know why you feel the urge to claim the contrary or why you would also make reference to pedophiles in the same paragraph.

Experimenting with sex with girls is what made me know 100% that I was gay. That was long before I even kissed another guy and was before we got the internet at home or saw anything "gay" on TV.

Could you link to some credible sources for this research?

It’s turned into a politically correct movement and not about equal rights but what they can get instead.

You cannot make this claim in good faith as it's nonsense and completely illogical.

you're saying that "Equal Rights" and "Political correctness" are mutually exclusive.

They are NOT.

Political Correctness is often required to ensure equality.

You can't walk around calling me a "kike" (sorry if offensive, tried to pick something from my own background). If I tell you that it's politically incorrect to do so, it's because by using terms that are full of offense and negative connotations, you are purposely saying we are NOT equal, and you are free to use whatever terminology you want at me.

Throwing around political correctness as some form of term that should be apposed is just modern day euphamism for racism. it's no different than tossing on a "but". "I'm all for equality... BUT, i should be free to insult others all i want!"

I have enough gay friends and members of my family who would fiercely deny being gay is a lifestyle choice or something you can try and get used to. It’s far more complex than that and I repeat I think a person must be bisexual to feel any need to try having sexual with both males and females.

I’m not comfortable with you bringing paedophilia into this as I can’t see how it’s relevant to this discussion?

It has happened, google it.
At any rate I was not replying on how many times it happened, but just to the formal and legal point that sexual orientation is not protected for anyone in some states. My reply was not related to cultural norms.
"It has happened, google it" is not an answer. And I just googled it, with a plethora of different wordings, and came up with nothing. Your reply does not need to be related to the cultural norm, because it already is that by default.

Just wrong on so many levels. They even have kids marching with them.

Talk about having their priorities straight (pun)
Of course kids and their families walk in gay prides. There are children with gay parents, parents with gay children, ... they all want the same thing: support and equality. Given your backward reaction, plenty more gay prides are needed.

That is what I would call having their priorities straight. Educating their children from an early age to understand what homosexuality is and to be accepting. Otherwise they end up being narrow minded and displaying the sorts of disgusting homophobia often demonstrated in this very thread.

First, it is possible to get hooked to things you really feel disgusting (if you wish a mean example, you can think of people who felt the beer flavour was disgusting but drank it for the sake of feeling socially accepted and at they ended up "liking" beer; if you prefer more in-topic examples, then consider that people who got hooked by sadomasochism did it by getting used to it; the same happens with some people in the LGTB lobby: they didn't like it but they got hooked to it after getting used to things that they wouldn't disclose even within their own LGTB circles; and, in general, most if not all vices, are a hook acquired by repetition).

I’m not comfortable with you bringing paedophilia into this as I can’t see how it’s relevant to this discussion?
Why aren't you comfortable? Is it because paedophilia shows that people can get used to things they didn't like at the beginning, and thus breaks your "taste is in the genetics" line?

BTW, I suppose you know that paedophilia was accepted and praised at the 68 sexual revolution, don't you? If you don't know it, take note, because the gender ideology agenda mimics the 60s revolution, and it's quite likely that acceptance of paedophilia will be next.

Trying sexual activities like sadomasochism or liking beer is very different to people being attracted to people of the same sex. I have never heard of a straight person trying to have sex with someone of the same sex and ‘getting used to it’. I think you’d have to have bisexual tendencies in the first place as I’ve now repeated a few times. My opinion doesn’t change on that. I couldn’t have sex with a man as I’m straight and I simply physically couldn’t do it.

I think trying to suggest large proportions of the gay community are people who may have just got hooked on it really makes a mockery of those who are born gay and have had a very difficult time coming to terms with it.

I’m not comfortable comparing homosexuality with the abuse and rape of children. It’s nothing to do with your opinion on people changing their sexuality because they ‘are hooked’ as I don’t share that point of view.
