Now you have corporate purchasers demanding a 16 Gig model at $549/599. They don't care about the free 16 gigs. Don't need it, but they do need a lower cost. It's the same from the consumer group that buys them now. Again, for me the cost of an iPhone is $849 (Plus 64).
You’ve been asked numerous times what makes the 16GB ‘a corporate phone' and avoided answering it. Again, do you have a link to a keynote or support document where an Apple spokesman says something along the lines of, “…and for our corporate customers…….”? Or are you going to gloss over it again?
I will answer it for you. The price. That's it.

Corporate customers want the cheapest option available when it comes to procuring corporate pc, iPads or iPhones. Because they are buying more than a couple and they want their devices to connect to their corporate network, and currently iOS is the gold standard. You don't have to agree, it's a fact.

Your going to see the iPhone se fit that role very nicely.

Oh and they don't care about the 4K camera most corporate institutions disable it.

Actually, the correct answer is. "I don’t have it”. Right or wrong what you have done is put your spin on it. iOS is the gold standard? pls point me to your research that substantiates that point. NOT opinion, research. Proof.
Also pls point me to the evidence that supports your statement about the camera. Just to reiterate. I’m not interested in what YOU think. I’m after real proof.
If you are going to give me more opinion don’t bother to answer.

5.8" isn't enough. The world is demanding bigger screens and the entry level iPhone should be around 6.5".

iPad Pros need to go up to at least 35" to be true desktop replacements.

Apple should stick with metal cases. Not for me though as that size is waaay too big for me. OLED would be good though.

I bet Apple were surprised at the Plus models sales, after their arrogance for so long to ignore the booming big screen Android market that Samsung pretty much made. Now most on here have a Plus iPhone.
I hope they don't copy Samsung's Edge display idea though, they should think of something new themselves.
[.

I don't think apple was surprised. They waited for the technology to mature before scaling it up to the iPhone. It takes time.

That market that you claim Samsung invented, well that has now imploded. Eviscerated by apples iPhone plus. The iPhone Plus now owns the 5.5 inch market and above in vendor marketshare.
I guess what I'm trying to say is Samsung didn't create the niche, if it did it would still outsell the iPhone and remain the dominant leader ( in phablets), like Apple did with the iPod and iPad in the MP3 or tablet categories, They own those categories. Now the note series did not begin the large screen phablet wars, that distinction goes to dell, with their streak.
And to be completely frank there are rumors that the note 6 might be Samsung last in the note series. The writing is on the wall.

Panasonic this year has completely ditched curved screens. OLED are supposed to be the best screens though for 4K? I don't have one though.

Good for them it is a **** technology.
I preferred plasma, the colors were amazing especially in last models made. Panasonic were responsible for the plasma displays before they shuttered the technology. ;(.

Have a look at the new Sony Tvs, I think it's the XBR-X930D, they blew me away this year. Much better color reproduction than anything amoled could hope to achieve.

FYI my first oled tv was back in the mid 2000. Picked up an 11 inch Sony panel for around 3k.
Those had more accurate color reproductions than Samsung's or lgs panels.

I don't want it as an option. If Implementation Is not perfect I'm not going to use it. why should I pay for it?
When I hear things like this I always think back to the lack of MMS. Actually Apple until you get around to implementing your ‘perfect’ solution I’d rather have some capability as opposed to no capability.
It also reminds me of the ‘perfect’ Apple TV. Apple disguised its awful interface and lack of talent by calling it a hobby.
Oh and Siri. That was deemed beta for a while right? Another example of a perfect product released early maybe?

I have Siri and choose not to use it. I’d rather have the option to use it than not at all.

It's not an opinion or a debate. Its the reality which we live in.
Apple and iOS owns the corporate environment.

What a crock.

If that’s reality should be easy for you to find something(s), more than your word to point to. It’s your opinion. FACT.

As you failed at providing something more concrete than FFR said you really shouldn’t have bothered.

WTF would we want a curved glass phone for?

Apple should just race to its fatal conclusion: Make the iPhone a crystal globe that doesn't do anything.

Guess what I didn't care about mms then and when Apple allowed it I still didn't care or use it.

I don't see the correlation between your ramblings and the next two iPhones.
Haters gonna hate?

Good for you, you buy things you don't use some, I and the majority do not. But continue your counter culture crusade. For the option ofcourse.

I love Siri, I have been using Siri since the 4s. Keeps getting better and better.

FYI: I don't think you can compare Siri to the edge display. One is software that encompasses all of iOS , Apple TV and the Apple Watch the other is a curved display. Lol. It is rather retarded in a special kind of way.

What a crock.

Don't need to bother. I'm not going to show you research proves that the world is round either.

Either do your own research or have enough humility to bite your tongue.
Cheers ;)

5.8? Why not just but phone capabilities on an iPad mini and call it a day.

I have thought the same thing before. You can already get an iPad mini with LTE, why not enable voice and let users pair it with a really nice bluetooth headset (I doubt many people would actually want to hold an iPad to their ear).

All this talk about 2017 has me thinking that iphone 7 is just going to be more of the same of 6s.

I think the new “curved” Samsung phones are ridiculous. Not impressed. I just want for Apple to blow me away with iPhone 7. The world’s most valuable company should start acting like it. Sadly, it seems that Tim Cook’s more concerned with being the ultimate bean counter than being the 2.0 version of Steve Jobs’ let’s reinvent the world.
You might not care but a lot of us here do.
I own several Tvs with different technologies.

My oled tv are the worst in color reproduction. I have a Samsung and an lg, both are curved. Absolutely the worst.
So we should listen to a guy who hasn't got the sense to buy a decent TV, not only once but twice.

Fantastic news,I'd definitely return to iPhone when they use OLED screens, and I really don't like the metal casing of current iPhobes, glass was much nicer to hold, much more durable, metal scratches so easily.
I don't like curved screen though.
once you use an OLED screen then any LCD screen will instantly become inferior and washed out.

Its looking more and more like the real sh*t is going down in 2017/18 and iPhone 7 is just a disappointment

I've been upgrading every year or every other year since the 3GS now, but if major redesigns and new features start rolling out on a new cycle (or as Apple sees fit) I may hang onto my 6 until it dies or I see something too good to pass up. I don't want to have to buy the largest iPhone to get the best specs, either. I see this as a benefit, though. I finally pay for the phone up front, and don't have to worry about hidden subsidies on my phone bill. If I feel moved to get a new piece of tech (or better yet - add a few bucks to my savings account), and have the cash, I can just put the $800 towards something else.

The only way I'd get the next iPhone (7) now is if it had better battery life, a huge spec bump over the 6 (although I'm currently not limited in any way on my phone), or another fantastic feature.

I'll be really bummed out if I have to get a phablet to get top of the line specs, however. It just doesn't fit in my pocket. I picked up my mother's 6 Plus the other day and it's insanely huge (albeit a beautiful device - and she loves it). I wouldn't be able to get it in my pocket, and I'm very mobile at work.

Just my 2¢ on the latest iPhone rumors (which my autocorrect wants to desperately call "tumors" - lol).

Actually bought it at the same time.
Wanted to evaluate the technology between two different companies.

Do you have a problem with that?

Oh and web os sucks as a tv platform.
