Anyone else think the Cingular guy is a total sleaze? Just reminds me of a used car dealer.

Quality from Apple's site is great for me. Watching full screen on a 15" PB... looks awesome!

I love the new QT.
watched it on my 23 incher in clean clear quality

ha, kanye makes me laugh, "thanks to steve for still letting me preform....."

hmm, quicktime isn't connecting... I'll wait a few days, server is probably overloaded.

p.s. about downloading the full stream, you can sometimes find them, in the usual places. ;)

30GB iPod

It doesn't look like Steve Jobs knew about the Zen Nano Plus. This looks like it could be a nightmare trademark lawsuit.

Has anyone noticed this picture for a 30GB iPod? You reach it by going to the Apple Store and clicking on the regular iPod.

I thought SJ did a good job, but the Motorola and Cingular guys are definitely not what I would call good public speakers. I want an iPod nano, but won't be getting one. I already have a shuffle and a 40 GB iPod, so there's no reason for me to get a nano :(.

Great to see Jobs speak again. It still doesn't make up for not having a Paris Expo Keynote though. ;) Guess I'll just have to wait until MWSF now...

And interestingly, it costs the same as the 20GB model. hmmmm....

OMG. I could not believe I watching this keynote at 640x360 (I think) at 30fps. WOW. Near DVD quality being streamed wirelessly to my lazy ass. h.264 is awesome. Now if only it wasn't such a CPU whore.

I think the thing is that we're so used to Steve's keynotes and the other guys aren't very popular (yet) in the Apple world. I think the public was rather cold. There were relatively little applauses or cheers for the iPod nano. I guess people were expecting a little more. I personally think the announcement (the nano) was awesome, but the buzz was a little exaggerated. Many were expecting a movie or video store and video on iPods.

anybody else notice how unenthused Jobs sounded when he said "I think you'll like it. It's pretty cool", about the ROKR? Bet he doesn't use one ;)

He was probably preoccupied with the ipod nano in his pocket.

I love how Steve introduced the ROKR, then totally smashed it barely 15 minutes later with the iPod nano! Nobody's going to buy a ROKR if they can get their hands on the nano instead.

So true. I plan to use my nano to make outgoing phone calls.

Motorolla's phones aren't very good to begin with. You'd be better off getting the nano plus a good phone if you really want the best of both worlds.

Wow, I didn't know it had that functionality - this nano thing keeps getting better and better! I betcha it will burn DVDs too, I think it says so in the fine print... :D

A shuffle and a strip of velcro is all I need. Cheaper too. :D

I'd say Steve needs to come to terms with his advancement to bifocals. The changing of glasses started to get kind of distracting, and bifocals would let him be a lot more smooth about it. :)
