Ditto...It seems spreading products throughout the years resulted in fewer significant bugs too. Also, it doesn't make too much sense to cram iPhone/iPad/iOS/OS X into a Sept/Oct timeframe either; I get they are all intertwined but it feels like products are rushed rather than perfected.

Well, Apple want's to ship all devices with the newest OSes. Remember how iPad's were released with the current version of iOS while the iPhones were released with the newer version. I assume that may be a part of it, but I agree things seem rushed now.

My view is they will allow pre-orders for Apple Watch on at least three price points to allow for time to ramp a range of colors approximately similar to demand.

The traffic jam of container ships (union negotiations) in Long Beach, CA is such a major bottleneck they will use Seattle and Houston to receive major quantities and slightly reemphasize supply chain departure points in the West.

By offering miniaturized products they will double their Fedex (and other air cargo carrier) reservations.

Apple watch soon as possible, then everything else.

I use buyersguideapple.com. Using a brain that works..

I want to be excited, but I also don't want to be disappointed.

This. I've got a TV ready and waiting to be upgraded from a Chromcast to a new Apple TV connection. I won't buy the currently available old tech for $99 on principle. So my next Apple TV purchase will be when they release a new product. I might even buy two and put one of my older ones out to pasture.

iPod touch! iPod touch! iPod touch!

Please update it, Apple. :)

I agree. I'm afraid to take my large screen phone on my sporting events, so I take my iPod touch. iOS 8 seems to have made it really slow. Still functional, but I can tell a big difference between it and my iPhone.

I liked having events throughout the year vs having them all crammed into the few months before the Christmas shopping season.

Saaaame.

I miss having a bunch of exciting events all year. iPads in March, WWDC in June, iPhones and iPods in September, and Macs all year round.

Eh, really only interested in potential iPad Pro and stylus. Apple Watch is not the least bit interesting to me, and the Air isn't so special anymore with really thin retina MacBook Pros that have huge battery life. I am curious to see how the differentiate the Air now, though.

Funny how a mod deleted the post. Let's try again: *yawn*

These highly-predictable events aren't as interesting as they used to be. The Mac Pro unveiling was the last neat one IMO.

I know it's just an artist's rendition, but I'd really like it if Apple would drop the wedge shape on the MBA. I think the MBP looks much better.

If they unveil a new MBA, I hope they also announce an updated Mac Pro. Lots of people waiting for that, let me tell you.

I'm finding myself more and more drawn to the Mac Book Air as a replacement for my iPad. I'd use it for entertainment like I do the iPad (netflix, web browsing and such) but I could also use it for my work in conjunction with my Mac Pro with the same OS and the same apps.

That sounds like a more productive approach for me than a separate OS for each device.

"iPad Pro... Want iPad Pro... Needs it to be announced soon... I wants it...
Gollum *cough* Gollum"
Nevertheless the sooner that event is, the sooner I'll know about the faith of my favourite feature on MacBooks: The bright light of the :apple: symbol.

I'm hopeful for a new MBA. I want the perfect little writing machine to replace my iPad+Logitech Keyboard Cover setup. Full on OSX on an ultraportable would totally rock.

I want this to be the Mac for people who already own a Mac. :)

The dominant rumors of late for "next big things" have been watch, iPad Pro and this Macbook Air. This thread implies a big reveal coming this month and speculates that it's 1-2 of those things. Yet so far, about 30% of the posts are showing more enthusiasm for something else: :apple:TV, iPod updates, Apple Apps, etc. 30%!

I'm with those hungrier for a new :apple:TV instead of (or with) the watch, iPad Pro or new Air. I wish Apple would put some serious focus on the little box and really make it into something. There's billions of TVs in the world not currently fed by an :apple:TV.
