Quicktime X is for Mac OS X
"QuickTime X is the next-generation media technology that powers the audio and video experience in Mac OS X Snow Leopard. It includes a completely new QuickTime Player application with a clean, uncluttered design. And it delivers more efficient media playback, HTTP-based live streaming, and greater color accuracy"
If there's a new release of QT for Windows it won't be called Quicktime X.
Who cares about the Beatles..

The more I'm reading online, the more I'm thinking that this will be a Music only event:
New iPods
iOS 4 and GarageBand for iPad
The "one more thing" may be an intro to the new AppleTV (just like when it first was introduced) to be shipping in February and to get the Developers to start making Apps (and Game Controllers) for it...

Yes it is but the "X" is for Unix and/or Mac OS not windows. If anything they might introduce Quicktime 8 for Windows.
These new iPods are way too hyped up, I mean it's basically a downgraded iPhone 4, is that really that amazing?
Obviously you underestimate the significance of the "X" in Mac OS 10So wait. Theres a law that says "No windows applications may contain the letter X" ?
I guess macOSX can not have any applications that have letters with "W" in them.
I'm happy to pay $25/year on my prepaid. Tell Apple to make an iPhone for me.These new iPods are way too hyped up, I mean it's basically a downgraded iPhone 4, is that really that amazing?
Why would Apple use WAV format when they can use Apple Lossless?
iTunes needs a remake from the ground up, the app has just gotten too big for it's britches.
Also a new name, it's now 20% tunes.
PS: Regarding the guitar, it's clearly a mix between Martin, Takamine and other such this one:
