AM is restricted to streaming to 1 device per ID. FS is the solution. Otherwise you'll need to offline everything you wish to share.
Download if you need to first.
I'm confused here.. Does this new service mean I can stop my iTunes Match subscription? I can't see any point in keeping both, and the streaming option, while more costly does have advantages, particularly if I can store playlists locally for those times where I can't get online, and if I can share with my wife.
Can anyone confirm is my interpretation correct?

Yeah, that makes no sense at all. I use iTunes on a number of computers, my iPhone, and iPad, so Apple Music HAS to work on more than one device at a time or else it's a complete failure.1 Device per ID? Are you sure?
I've read that the Apple Music subscription includes the iTunes Match functionality (http://www.imore.com/apple-music-faq). I don't know how Apple is going to show that. Will we automatically get charged for iTunes Match when ours expires? Will it automatically know not to charge? I'll have to investigate once it goes live, but it seems like you will not need both.
So, with the 6 family users.. They will be restricted to one device per user?
Are they only launching AM on IOS today? Or will I be able to check out AM on my Mac today?
Doubtful.
But that's sort of the point. Apple haven't put out any coherent information on it. I currently have iTunes Match that's due to renew in December. iTunes Match scans my library and either matches or uploads all my songs to the cloud so I can stream them anywhere. Music scans my library and either matches or uploads all my music to the cloud where I can stream it anywhere. Yes, there's DRM issues etc, but essentially it appears the two service do the same things. Now, if I sign up for Music today, will it go through the process of scanning my library and doing what it needs to but leaving me with duplicates of everything in the Music app, or will signing up for Music automatically remove iTunes Match from my devices to avoid this? All we want is information. I'm not bothered either way, but knowing in advance and not finding out when it's too late would be helpful. But, maybe I'm expecting too much from them.![]()
