My question: the instructions speak of a section within settings to enable Spatial on other headphones. My understanding is that they can only make that change with an update. So will we see a minor update before it is fully functioning?

Regarding that support link - on my iPhone 11 (14.6) I went to settings, music… there’s no Dolby Atmos setting mentioned or available.There’s a new support article about spatial audio and Dolby atmos

I clicked on Taylor Swift and the Dolby Atmos and lossless music logos appeared for a brief second before disappearing again.
It looks like it’s getting ready and they just need to flick a switch to enable it.

I took that to mean for video - it is not currently supported for video as far as I know. Also, per the Apple Music support page posted above, it says nothing about needing an M1 for Dolby Atmos in Apple Music:

Live in Australia - playlists on the front of the Music App now. Sounds good 🙂
Can you post a screenshot of the albums with Dolby Atmos logo? Those playlists are available to anyone with the link and the screenshot is from the Listen Now section which will display recent playlists.

In Australia, no update here. (assume they have to update the Music app for the lossless settings to appear)
sooo does this mean I don’t get it because I’m on the public beta of 14.7 that didn’t get the update because of the sim bug 😅

But that’s just the standard page when you click on the link I posted earlier. When you click on an album, no Dolby atmos or lossless logos show up.
I'm confused, so in Apple Music on macOS there will have to be an update surely?
Incorrect, i'll post the full shot when i get back to the office.
I am not sure what link you refer to, but i haven't clicked any link, this just showed up in my Listen Now page. I have only played from the playlist briefly between meetings. I have not looked into Albums which i'll look to do back at the office. Definitely was spatial audio though, immersion on the APP was insane.
