We are buying this and advertising for them...

At the very least we should expect some kind of token for appreciation. Like... A discount, an electronic badge, limited edition watch face. Something.

This should be proposed to Apple if they aren't thinking about it already.

if rumors of over 1 million strong is true, it is not really an early adopter type of experience. Maybe if this was pebble a few years ago (my pebble has "kickstarter" etched into it).

I also like that I still have my original iPhone and original box. There are not many of us.

    That would be cool.

Like a Day One edition watch face or something. Idk if Apple is that kind of company though...

Free engraving. Of course, they'll put a 4-6 week delay in processing the engraving...

If they get it to me on 4/24 instead of 5/8, I'll be very happy.

Beyond that, no they don't owe us anything except a quality product with good service and that is something that Apple has always provided. Sure, they aren't perfect, and there have been bumps in the road, but all in all, Apple is a fabulous company that has always treated me very well. I'm very happy to spend my money on Apple products.

And if they deliver on 5/8? Will that change your view?

At this point they are meeting expectations (some may disagree). And that bar is high.

How can Apple wow loyal customers and not taking the loyalty for granted? That's what I am getting at. We will see about that.

I wouldn't say never. I expect to receive a smart watch from Apple between April 24, and May 8. I expect to pair said smart watch with my iPhone 6. And I expect Apple to offer coverage until at least 2 years after it receive my smart watch (I got AC+).

why should they incentivize early adoption of a product they are basically sold out of? sounds like you want a reward for your unconditional apple loyalty. if you think you need some reward for buying a product and "advertising" for them, you probably shouldn't buy it

Your reward is having it first and getting to show it to everyone and letting them out their grubby paws all over it.

How about Apple fixes production delays and gets me my damn watch before they go rewarding people for buying it, eh?

    But we do get something.
We get an Apple Watch before everyone else. What more do you need?

Indeed. If they deliver outside this timeframe, then I'm gonna have issues. Some people really are acting like self-entitled bratty children with this launch!

Yes, I think they should give me an edition since I was among the first to order a sport

But seriously, if these watches don't make launch day we should get a free sport band or something.

If we get it launch day and apple delivers what we were promised, and we paid for those promises, I don't think they owe us anything
