Well there are a whole lotta new registrants so it would seem silly to reggie but not vote.

I personally think that telling people to "just vote" is wrong.

People should not be voting for the candidates if they know little about them.

I think it's more important to research the candidates and then only vote on the ones you have researched.

Wow this thread went downhill with biased political lies. Not worth with my time I can’t get back reading.

Back on National Voter Registration day in September this year, more than 800,000 people registered to vote, compared to around 145,000 in 2014. And that's just a day they tacked a name onto for a big reggie push... but each state has its own deadlines for registration and that option continues in some states right up to election day.

I hope I am wrong but I'll make this short.
Republicans keep the Senate and House.

Do you honestly believe this or are you being facetious...

Historically one or both houses of Congress changes side during midterm elections. The Senate is likely to stay Red but he House is likely to turn Blue. It's not about being facetious, simply going off historic results as well as current polls showing so.

I do hope people vote. It’s my opinion that Republicans offer no solutions to any real problems faced by Americans. On health care, retirement security, access to and affordability of higher education, child care, maternity leave, teacher pay, worker’s rights, wages, women’s rights, civil rights, and the environment, Republicans have failed or refused to offer solutions which help normal people every day. Time will tell. I’m voting on Tuesday.

There wasn't a US election in 2015...

Republicans don't traditionally participate much in early voting.

In 2014 they did 4% more then Dem, this year it's 2% more, so it's down so far.

Just what I need more election news forced on me. I think in 2 years I'll vote early and then go to some country that won't dedicate 24 hours a day to this.

Voting just encourages the politicians (on both the left and right) to keep doing what they've been doing. No thanks to that.

And not voting does that even moreso. If you don’t like a thing, and you only get one opportunity to change it, spending your opportunity sitting on your couch and staring out the window does nothing but allow that thing to continue.

Congressman and Senator are not supposed to be lifetime positions.

Something I wish Apple News had is a similar article feature. When you tap on an article at the bottom it would show other articles/news stories on the same topic.

You know Apple News would be much more desirable if it allowwed for news customization that’s personalized to me, rather than Apple deciding what news I should be reading.

they can't force their liberal bias if they did that.

I'd take it bit more detailed.. give me the news but source it with all relevant, no strike that, associated sources, so i can make my determination which news is most valid to me.
