My problem is I cannot use ATT's website to order even though it is working for me because I cannot change the shipping address from Miami, FL where its billed to Los Angeles, CA where I live. Damn apple.com

Didn't work through Apple but went through on AT&T site. Got worried when it said unlimited data had been removed. Then it took me to the choose a data plan page and iPhone 4S unlimited data was checked. Everything went through fine! Unlimited data too!

Do you have a link? Because I'm having no luck on the Premiere site or My wireless dashboard.

Hey guys, use AT&T site to preorder!!! I had no issues going straight through them. Apples connections to carrier sites for eligibility are screwed.

Guys, listen, I'm certainly not a big AT&T fan but I have to say what a number of others have also said-- the problem is the Apple site-- NOT AT&T. I also completed my order on the first try at the AT&T site but could get nothing done on apple.com. AT&T was slow to get the iPhone 4s onto the site but once they did, I sailed right through the steps

I get 'Ships by 14th October' and shipping is 'fast ship'. Does it mean I'll get it on Friday, 14th or at the very least Saturday,15th?

First time I'm preordering.


Don't be surprised if you don't get it by those dates. Take it from a person who has gone through the exact procedure with iPhone 4, iPad 2, etc. etc.

After all this ordering frustration is done.........then begins the
"undelivered" and/or late delivery frustrations.

We still have a long ways to go......
 
Ugh... no dice... every time I try via Apple store, AT&T site, Apple Store iPhone app, or calling Apple on phone nothing. The AT&T site keeps giving me:

"There was a problem with your request.

P1234: We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to support this request online. Please contact Premier Support at 1-866-499-8008 Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time for assistance with your request. Please reference Error P1234 if you speak to a representative about this error."

...every time I try. Ugh... and was trying to surprise girlfriend. This is kinda stupid. Especially considering I got through to where I could checkout before it decides to fail/timeout and loose everything. :(
 
as a premier customer it almost isnt worth the discount for all the trouble im having on the movile app att website apple website and 611 all at once hedgeing my bets to see which one happens first

I have AT&T premier and I ordered my phone on the apple store app try that although it was acting up too
 
Still can't get through. Tried the Apple Site and I wen't towards the very end, picking my contract and now, I can't do it anymore. The iPhone app only went half as far.

The AT&T website won't even let me do it, says my device (iPhone 4) is not supported for their process and I have to call them :rolleyes:

i had the same problem. tried att's site and it locked me out for an hour because i tried to login to upgrade but it couldn't because they are down. this is the worst!!
 
Zero problems for me too last year, but disaster this year. Let us know if you find out anything. FAN accounts are a total mess.

Yes, I noticed that, too, and am a bit annoyed. Note the unlocked version is GSM-only (so no dreams of getting it and going to US Cellular or a regional CDMA carrier). Anyway, when in November? November 1? 15? 30? I'd at least like to get my pre-order in.

That said, my work phone is under contract until February, so it would be the same $649 unlocked or with AT&T right now. I'll just wait until November and get the unlocked version (I travel overseas and like using OneSIM or local SIMs). On a side note, it appears AT&T's network is jammed right now since it won't advance past the account verification screen even if I try to order it.
 
Current shipment status for the phone says "Delivers on October 14th". Does that mean it will be shipped on 10/14, or arrive at 10/14?
 
We are sorry, due to huge demand your iPhone 4S can't not be purchased. Feel free to order our new iPod Touch instead.
False advertising! The iPod Touch isn't a new model, it's the exact same device it was last month, they didn't even upgrade the camera to match the old iPhone 4.

looks like AT&T to me

have been trying since the site went back up for preorders -- the apple pages load quickly, but when i enter my ATT account info, it stalls. im guessing it has to hit ATT's server and thats where its failing.

I just went to attwireless.com, clicked on SHOP then proceeded to preorder. No issues so far ::crosses fingers it's delivered on time::

Would love to, it if let me check my eligibility. I stupidly decided to save money on my plan month to month with a discount from my employer and the end result is not being able to check upgrade status at stupid hours of the night.

There better not be a shipping delay by morning like there eff'ing was by the time I got to order my iPad2 at 8am on that preorder.

Just an FYI I got stuck at the checkout box on the app but after nearly 30 min of clicking away it went through
