Apple Now Accepting Pre-Orders for iPhone 4S, Unlocked Coming in November

I've been trying on AT&T since 2:01 CST and have only been able to get past check upgrade status once...and it timed out during checkout. Since then...nada.

AT&T is screwing up Apple's site as well. This is a joke.

Tryin to Pre_Order Iphone 4S

I am so tired. I have been up since 2:01 CST trying to order. It kept erroring out on ATT eligibility check. Now it says Unable to process Iphone. I am disgusted. I did not think it would be hard for someone to make a buck. What is the problem?
 
Now Apple's website reported they are temporarily unable to take iPhone orders and to please try again later. They really screwed this one up.

So are all the preorders done now since it says we are temorarily unable to take preorders?
 
Has anyone had this happen. I got through the order until where it asked me for my apple id and password. I ddi that but missed a digit on my user id. I tried again and it shut down on me. When i try and go through the enrollment again it says i already have an order and to cancel the order if i want to go through but if i check my cart or the items menu it shows nothing. WHAT do i do???!! is there a chance it is out there but i can't find it?
 
$849.00us for an unlooked iPhone 64g 4s is expensive. I'll wait for the New Zealand price as it looks like Apple is pricing US products higher due to the US dollar and it may be cheaper in NZ.

A few deliveries make their way earlier though, hopefully my UPS guy can't read to good

then just hit 0
 
TOTAL FAIL, Apple....

Un-freaking-believable..... After filling in my info I don't know HOW many times, only to be told "There was an error processing your request".

I'm now greeted by this nonsense:

I already have one reserved. I just need to complete the order before they ship it to me and it won't let me do that.

Last year, I woke up and the site was having problems. So I figured I could wait until that evening and order - of course, they were sold out by then.

So tonight I decided to stay up, figuring a couple lost hours of sleep is still better than standing in line for 5-10 hours.

It's now almost 5AM EST and still nothing. And I've read every post in this thread and it seems like no one has been able to get any AT&T orders successfully submitted through Apple's site (I tried ATT.com, but I always get errors).

Whatever happened to "it just works"?

tried ATT, click on pre-order for the 4S and entered information for upgrade verification. upgrade was approved but it only gives me the option to upgrade to a iPhone 4 or a 3GS, no sign of where to click for a 4S. WTF?

Apple store online gets stuck on the upgrade verification then times out.

now it appears to be down all together.

i can do it on the att website but they only have black iphones :mad: wtf steve jobs is dead for barely 24 hrs and apples already gone to ****......

On the apple app I finally got a message saying my iphone has neeb reserved (after checking eligiblity) your reservation number is 212342312 blah blah

come back to complete any additional steps
