you mean pre-approval? speaking to the people from the launch two weeks ago, they were able to pre-order just not pre-approval.wish u could do pre order for verizon or just if ur buying straight out
Thanks, I called citizens one loan and they told me that I had made 12+ (13 payments) so they didn’t know why Apple was telling me to make an extra payment. So you are saying you had to make the 14th payment? Or was it just something citizens applied without you actually having to pay? On the Apple Store it acts like I can just make that payment whenever I actually preorder the phone. So confusing lolSame issue exactly and was first denied loan. But now resolved. Called citizen and talked to a nice guy. He transferred me to their billing who were able to apply that missing payment. When logging into citizen website the loan on my 11pro didn’t show all history but even though it looked like I made 13 payments it made sense to make that last one because the October payment didn’t go through (it was just when I ordered the 12 pro for which I was charged and refunded on the new loan). So basically think of it that if you got your 11 pro on day one you really going to make 14 payments! Waited 30 min and applied again and now good to go.
Same here. Talked to various people with Apple and Verizon and no one has helped. Have you recently changed your sim or updated your plan? Trying to find a common element.Argh, getting the “Verizon account not supported” message here too. Apple says to talk to Verizon, Verizon says it isn’t their problem, but they can help me upgrade through their program. =\
Did update the sim. Guessing that is probably the issue. I had an absolutely awful experience last year upgrading with an eSim, so I swapped back to a physical sim last week...so probably just caused myself a whole new set of problems. =(Same here. Ah, another interesting data point. I tried going for an iPhone 12 Pro (not Max) and got a different error...I’m thinking this must be related to the device swap.Did update the sim. I bet they see it as a device swap since the IMEI has to change, and there’s probably some kind of time frame that has to elapse before I can make changes.
Same here. When I returned my 12 Pro I stuck that sim in my old phone. I’m guessing that’s part of the problem.Did update the sim. Guessing that is probably the issue. Working on my second Verizon rep now, it seems that this is the issue, but no solution has been presented as of yet.Same here. When I returned my 12 Pro I stuck that sim in my old phone. I’m guessing that’s part of the problem.
I am not sure how many payments I made in total because the history doesn’t show up on citizen portal which is weird but given my October 19 payment on the 11 pro was not made and the 12 mini will be delivered November 13 I assume that I needed to make the extra payment? Thanks, I called citizens one loan and they told me that I had made 12+ (13 payments) so they didn’t know why Apple was telling me to make an extra payment. Keep me posted and I’ll do the sameWorking on my second Verizon rep now, it seems that this is the issue, but no solution has been presented as of yet.
MeAnyone have issues selecting AT&T as carrier (special trade-in offer), and then selecting No for Apple trade-in, and the Continue button being grayed out?
If you deposit them into your iTunes account, they work fine. Apple will even prompt you to use your credit balance during checkout.Noticed Apple doesn't allow gift cards to be used on online purchases of the iPhone 12 line up. Strange.
They told me that you can only pre-approve phone with Apple Card and not with carrier installment plans. So we have to wait until 6th
Okay, soooooooo...couple of things:Keep me posted and I’ll do the same
It’s exactly that, the Apple Card is 24 payments with no upgrade option at 12 months. Also, you are not required to have AppleCare+, which is baked in to the iPhone upgrade program. What's the difference in doing the upgrade program verses buying the phone on my Apple card and choosing the 24 payments? Would I have an upgrade option next year or up to me to sell and buy again?
I'd hate to have another credit pull for the upgrade program when I have the room on Apple card for phone.
One of my lines is showing that too; when I go back through for a 12 pro it lets me move forward. I did return a pro too so I could order the max. Maybe it will be resolved by Friday?I’m having an issue - maybe someone can help. I have two IUP through Apple. Upgraded one two weeks ago to the iPhone 12 Pro, no issues. Received the phone on 10/23. Everything is was fine.
So today, I’m trying to upgrade my iPhone to the 12 Pro Max and I keep getting the following error: “Your Verizon account is currently not supported. You will be able to purchase an iPhone for full price once preorders being”.
I have not changed my plan since September, and the line I upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro is on the same plan as my line is. So that shouldn’t be an issue. Does anyone know anything more about this? Been on the IUP since the iPhone 7 Plus and never had this issue before.
I did this once, kept the phone for my wife. You don't actually have to return the phone but if you don't need it, returning it allows Apple to close out the loan and that's all. If you keep it, you just keep paying the loan until it's fully paid off, so don't jump on paying it off your current loan all at once if you don't want to. The new phone starts a new loan.So I'm currently on the iUP with the 11 Pro Max since launch. Since I've heard that you lose the additional value of the extra monthly payments (since this year's iPhone was delayed past month/payment 12), and also because a family member could use my 11 Pro Max, I want to pay this one off completely and start a new iUP with the 12 Pro Max for myself. The Apple Store app was telling me I *needed* to trade my phone back to Apple, and was warning if I didn't, AppleCare+ would be canceled on the 11, which I don't want.
Thank you for this. Was AppleCare+ still active on the phone you kept, despite not trading it in? The Apple Store app screen seems to imply that AppleCare+ is canceled if the phone isn't returned.I did this once, kept the phone for my wife.
