Anyone noticed that the approvals "logos" on the 3rd pic at the "last minute images" link above are in mirror image?

Can't be real? Early prototype or a manufacturing test maybe?

CORRECTION: They're just upside down!
 
Time to settle in. I have the hilarious Gizmodo feed going along with Ars and I have the AAPL stock ticker running on CNBC as well. Might as well geek out for the next hour or so.
 
la la la I'm not as excited as I was the other day if what's been said turns out to be true. Glad I got my macbook when I did, no waiting and got it for a hell of a deal b/c of people thinking new MB would be out for cheap! haha
 
I love the internet. The "Which announcement will Jobs talk about first?" poll at Gizmodo has generated 15000 votes in 8 minutes. So that is 15000 votes about what Steve Jobs will say in ~ 20 minutes.

Wow, you're not the first person to post this sentiment on MR. But then one has to ask "Why are you reading news on a rumor site if you don't want spoilers?!!!!!" Seriously stay away until after the event and then you won't be bothered about leaks. Oh, but I forgot, then there will be more leaks about another Apple product. You know why? Because this is a #@*% rumors site!!! Hence, the name MacRumors.

On to the main topic ... I'm buying the top maxed out MBP immediately. I was debating between 15 and 17 inch but that decision has now been made by Apple. I loved owning the first gen 17 PB but it was heavy to lug everywhere and sucked when flying coach. I'll be very happy with the 15 MBP - although not sure I'll love the gloss screen. Any artists or designers on the forum that work on gloss screens? What is your feedback? Thanks.
 
The market seems to hate classical music; shares have dipped precipitously last few mins.
 
I am currently stationed outside my local Apple Store. As of right now they are still operational and I am the only one sitting conspicuously outside tinkering with his iPhone.

1. when does the event finish (I'm in England)

2. When will the apple.com reopen it's been closed for ages now.

oh yeah also what are the chances if imacs might get cheaper at the event?

Heh. I have a class in 20 minutes, and another class after that. I won't be able to see the results until after all that. :(
