Premier is the right one for me. I already buy for the family Music, News, 2TB iCloud and Apple TV+. That's $40 in subscriptions that will become $30 plus we can replace another workout subscription with the one included and we get Arcade. So, this may not be the plan for some but for someone like me its a great deal.

I’d be tempted to go for the individual plan if it had 2TB storage, as I would save on a monthly basis, plus get Arcade thrown in for free.

As it stands, the 200gb or whatever it is, is totally useless for me.

For someone who is subscribed to Apple Music, the individual plan is a no brainier. And its also a no brainier for any iPhone user subscribed to Spotify as a paying customer. Why pay $9.99 to Spotify, when you can get iCloud, TV and arcade for $5 more? They may not be much, but those 3 services combined are definitely worth $5.

Spotify should not have bit the hands that feed it.

Wish you could mix and match services. I don't need Apple TV or music, but am interested in fitness, going from spending $3 a month to $30 isn't going to happen.

So news + only in the top tier? On the fence about TV+, only show I liked in the first year was MythicQuest. Curious about Arcade, don't use icloud for any permanent storage and loathe all streaming services(ok maybe pandora's free tier). Nothing here for me I guess. If there was a News, TV and Arcade bundle for 10-15 I might try.

There are three tiers of Apple One available, including Individual, Family, and Premier:
  • Individual: Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud storage for $14.95 per month
  • Family: Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud storage for $19.95 per month
  • Premier: Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud storage for $29.95 per month
  • Individual: $5.97 savings (or $20.96 value)
  • Family: $7.97 savings (or $27.96 value)
  • Premier: $29.99 savings (or $54.94 value)
I am currently subscribing to iCloud 2TB ($9.99). I will be paying for Apple TV+ once the free year offer expires. So I will be getting Apple Music and Apple Arcade for free.

Currently I’m at:
- Apple Music family: $15
- 2 TB storage: $10

So...assuming premier is family:
- fitness+ (Which I would totally use)
- arcade(eh..)
- appleTV (I do like Ted lasso!)
- news (eh..I guess I can consume more..)
=$5

I think that may be worth the extra $5 for me and my fam.

Did I do the math right?
You are in the same boat as me. I have 2TB and I think the wife will like Apple TV+ and fitness. And I get Apple Music which I’m sharing my friends Spotify sharing the cost.

Apple Music (Individual) - Annually $99
200GB iCloud (Family) - Annually $35.88 (Monthly $2.99)
Apple TV+ (Individual) - Annually $49.99

= $184.87

The plans as described would force me to upgrade to the "Family" package for everything which would be $239.40 per year.

I know I am in the minority here. However, in my case this is not a good deal.

Same deal with me, I was hoping to add to the 200GB storage I get now, but would have to go all the way up to the $20/month plan to get the same storage. No thanks.

Why didn’t they do a pick 2, 3, 4, Etc For $12, $16, $20, Etc?

Looks like I’ll be doing the family plan and buy Fitness+ one year at a time.

Given that at the moment $1 = £0.76 I was hoping the UK pricing might come in slightly under the US rather than just swapping out the currency symbol, but I guess that's not to be... still not a bad deal if you currently subscribe to the individual services.

Family Apple Music is already $14.99, 200 GB storage is $2.99. That's $17.98. The Family tier is no-brainer at that price, especially since we are already paying for Apple News too. (We're on a free trial of Apple TV+.) It would save us money.

If Premier includes Family sharing too, then it's an instant upgrade. It would make iCloud usable for Mac storage too.

This is where I am. I pay for Apple Music Family and 200GB storage. I just have to decide if an extra $12/month is worth the rest.

I have Apple Music family for 14.99 and iCloud 2 Tb for 9.99, so for an additional 5$ I can get Apple Arcade, TV, news and fitness. Sounds like a steal!

Works for up to 6 family members.

  • Premier, where available, includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud storage for $29.95 per month, and can be shared among up to six family members.

Same deal with me, I was hoping to add to the 200GB storage I get now, but would have to go all the way up to the $20/month plan to get the same storage. No thanks.

Glad to know I am not alone!
