Ultra is the Ford F150 of smartwatches. 95% of people who buy it won't use any of the rugged functionality but it makes them "feel" like an active person who does things. I am a casual user and runner, and have small wrists, so this doesnt appeal to me - plus I am not a fan of the design. Easy pass.

That's cool that they made the SE $30 cheaper. Usually it's the reverse anymore.

I still love those Hermes fonts but the Ultra with that specific dive strap is the keeper IMO

I have to say I'm tempted by the ultra. The price is surprisingly not awful compared to outgoing Ti models.
Tried ordering the Ultra with AC+ with installments and was also denied. Order submitted without and I'm awaiting a chat agent to resolve this.

Just ordered a 41mm Aluminum S8 for my wife. Think it said 22-29 for delivery. Her S4 40mm has a smaller battery than my S4 44mm and is starting to give her problems when exercising. This is the first time someone in my household will have a better Apple Product than me, lol. That's going to make the next year difficult to wait out! Especially since I'll notice her always on watch display ALL THE TIME. I'm waiting for Apple Watch Ultra Series 2. I'm hoping for a bigger SoC upgrade which hasn't happened in a while (hoping for TSMC 3nm), Satellite SOS, and blood pressure and/or blood glucose monitoring.
The black/grey Alpine loop was an October ship date. The band alone is November. I went with the midnight just to not have to wait over a band that should be in stock.
