iPhone 11 Pro Apple order 9/27-10/1 delivery

For what it's worth, when I look at my tracking through UPS app, it does say "UPS Service Level: UPS Worldwide Expidited"

Also, as a side note, my series 5 Apple Watch shipped about the same day a week back and arrived on Friday as scheduled. However, I am sure it sat somewhere for at least a few days waiting on Apple's release for launch day delivery. The Service Level on that was "UPS Worldwide Saver" so maybe there is some hope they will deliver sooner than Thursday. Need mine for a trip on Saturday.

It does appear that they used expedited shipping.

This morning when I first got up the UPS site said a 9/26 delivery. Now it lists it as 'In Transit' and it says to check back for delivery update.

Maybe all these cancelled orders will bump mine up. I really don’t get the IUP program when every store seems to have stock... if mine hasn’t shipped by Tuesday I’ll just buy one in Anaheim. 10/1-10/4. I just don’t want to have to drive 3 hours round trip to pick one up.

UPS now has a big yellow triangle on the page and it says ‘Rescheduled Delivery’. What does that mean?

Yes have the same one thats a new phrase. Well I am guessing it means our packages are at the airport there as a big group. And it is on a charter aircraft so probably another plane other than regular UPS aircraft.

Mine was always 9/26 when it shipped rather than the 9/27-10/1 original range. What was your scheduled delivery date with UPS when it first showed shipped?

Looking at more it even says something about exception but my day still says 9/26. Looking at the data via detailed view you see the following. What is clear is our packages are now at airport and they are in a mass apple volume of some kind (pallets?) via a charter aircraft rather than regular UPS plane I am interpreting.

With that means it is they are about ready to depart China...

In fact looking at flight aware (our time to try and guess/track planes) I found one plane bound for Anchorage, that left at 3:50 AM on 9-23 China time which is quite close to the 3:58 time on tracking. And its Yangtze River Express Airlines 7491. A charter express plane I bet from name they are using. Just under 7 hours it will be in Anchorage so we can look for update this evening if its this plane. Well maybe not as exciting as opening day delivery tracking but our fun begins finally it appears ;-)

I never had a UPS delivery date. Apple’s email said 9/30, and provided tracking number. Since then, I’ve been tracking daily and UPS has always said “check back for scheduled delivery date” or something like that.

This is the first I’ve seen a date, and am just glad it’s this week and not next!

Same. Have never seen that one before but I keep hoping it all means I get it sooner than the 26th lol.
 
Mine said “Apple volume at origin pending departure on Charter Aircraft as scheduled.” And now I just got another alert and all it says is exception and schedule delivery unavailable. Hoping for maybe a earlier delivery!

Yeah. This new to me too never saw it before. I’m thinkinking maybe is shipping faster than they first thought. Hopefully it means we get them sooner.

With all I found (and posted) it appears we may already be on a contracted flight whose time is close to 3:58 and headed to Anchorage as we talk. So maybe earlier than 9/26
