Mine went from Thursday to check back for scheduled delivery. In activity On the website I now have on “A statement to identify commodities as samples, marked, or mutilated was not keyed by export resulting in a hold.” That’s a new one to me! The app has mine on the charter aircraft, however.

It’s new to me also but sure looks like they got a charter, maybe something happened with their own fleet. I am not sure what the usual patch is from Zheng Zhou for UPS to its own planes but maybe they got a deal with this charter because they did not have a plane nearby to keep phones on the expedited shipping so they went to this contractor?
Idk why but I am getting bored in this time. I was able to place my order at 8.07EST and have been waiting since. The tracking info has new weird infos and we have no idea whether it’s in motion or not. No excitement at all. Thanks Apple for ruining this little excitement we had.

I havent had any sign of movement. IUP program was a complete screw up. If the nearest Apple store wasnt three hours away I’d cancel and go get one.
I'm seeing what others have posted above. I've never seen anything like this before. I hope it doesn't mean a delay. Thursday would really be a better delivery day for me than Friday because of other things planned for that day that I'd rather not have to cancel.
Ok I’m ready for this airplane to land, so we can know if our phones are in the US yet! A Wednesday delivery would be so much more convenient for me.
I’m pretty sure it’s fine. Seems like the UPS tracking is a bit behind anyways.
That being said, all of us should complain to Apple about what a disaster it was this year. Pathetic you can grab a phone for pickup in store over the weekend but an order placed at 5:04 is still en route with no eta.

You’re so right about Apple’s total disaster. Worst experience in all the years I’ve done this. Maybe a class action lawsuit.
Really? Believe me, I am as pi$$ed as anyone else - I ordered at 8:04 AM EST. But then I look at my friend and think about how she had to skip her chemo this week because the neuropathy pain was so bad. That puts how 'bad' this screw up is in perspective.
Not sure if you’re serious. They can and probably will still deliver by your promised delivery date. They didn’t guarantee the tracking would make sense.
Mine was supposedly shipped yesterday from China, but I also just got the “Exception” notice. Delivery date was 9/30, so I’m hoping for a (much) earlier date.
If it’s true that something bad happened to the shipment, as the info about Exceptions on the ups site suggests, then I am serious.
Also what’s the point of having tracking if it doesn’t work? It used to in past years.

If the promised delivery date was 9/27-10/2 and the phone delivers by then, you have no case and will be laughed out of court. People need to relax with this.

I get that y’all are excited but let’s keep this in perspective. It’s a cell phone. No, you can’t sue; Apple never promised you a launch delivery, and your case would be hilariously bad if you attempted litigation.

So I called UPS because I put wrong delivery address and asked them to hold it at a delivery hub. That's when they told that It shouyld be delivered by tuesday (24th) but It might be delivered early on monday(23rd).I don't think monday is possible considering it still shows up as in transit china as of sunday night.
Well the special fight from Zheng Zhou is about to land in Anchorage I am almost convinced that its our phones. It usually takes 4-5 hours from there to Louisville. So I am guessing then we would see our phones there 4-5 AM time. If so then it is possible they will head towards us on Monday, but might not make it in time for Monday deliveries for all of us hence their telling you Tuesday. I am hoping we see a scan within hour at Anchorage.
Ok it landed here is info on plane I pretty sure was the charter aircraft they used in the UPS scan info.
