Yep. Just got a departure scan from ZhengZhou.
And to provide a small glimmer of hope, I had an Apple Watch from China that was schedule for Thursday pushed up to tomorrow. Once it hits Anchorage the process is very quick, but then again I live only a few hours away from Louisville.

The Exception delay was my bad guys. I called UPS China and told them some DOTA gamers were trying to smuggle themselves to the US inside the new iPhone boxes. Sorry, won’t happen again.

Very likely on same plane at least they got it moving what ever problem was.
Well looking at details under by reference it said there was some wrong data entered for cargo. That’s a customs issue as far as i can guess, apple said as much to me. I remember I ordered a fossil from friend in Italy. It was rare and expensive, and he entered a code for it that had to do with antiquities in Italy as that was closest to fossil. Well that code did not match what US customs used and my fossil got labels as a big batch of antique gold coins? WTF. That was big hassle to straighten out with shipper and customs all because two country’s customs did not have same codes. So bet this was some kind of error also along those lines for a much bigger shipment or something UPS had in shipment with our phones. I doubt we will ever know.

My tracking on UPS just updated. It’s showing that it just departed China a few minutes ago. The UPS app shows delivery to my home in Wisconsin on Thursday, but UPS via web browser doesn’t specify a delivery date yet.
Looking at the track by reference seems to have more details as I keep finding as it moved along last few days. And why it seems a customs issue. Anyway our phone load has been scanned for departure. I wonder what is leaving ZhengZhou now? Perhaps now we can let the fun begin after this little disaster.... LOL

I wonder what flight we might be on. Departure Scan only means the package left a UPS facility and is on the way to another UPS facility, according to the UPS website. If our phones left the USP facility at 1:54 AM - hopefully that facility is AT THE AIRPORT - but if not, these are the UPS cargo flights leaving ZhenZhou - hopefully we might be on the one that arrives in Anchorage tonight:
Got a 1:54 departure too. Guess I'm in the same boat, err, plane as you guys! Looked at FlightAware but can't seem to find a flight to match up to that time. Still got my fingers crossed for delivery by or before the 26th (which was the delivery date I had before the exception debacle).
Why would the app show something different than the web? Aren’t they pulling the same data?
I don’t know the answer to that. Even within the app, it is not consistent.
