The Apple multi-color logo is not even the order of actual rainbow colors via science or any flag! This is getting insane. Can't anyone google anything anymore? Green would not be at the top nor blue at the bottom in physics or any flag!![]()
I was talking about Jony Ive, who assuredly designed all of this.
You can’t deny that he’s right, though. Then just decline your invitation to attend or ignore it when you're there.
They’re celebrating their past glories. Why so much rainbow?
Possibly the best thing praise for Apple that I’ve read in years.Love the stairs!
“Truly hideous”? He’s wrong, and so are you. There is a saying, perhaps you’ve heard it before: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One hater’s hideous is another person’s awesome. You can’t deny that he’s right, though.
Or their current glories, including their values of inclusiveness, which seems to be so upsetting to a few MR forum posters and, for some reason, triggers their issues. They’re celebrating their past glories.
I guess you didn’t read anything about iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods or many different Macs. Expand your reading list beyond the Stair Review MonthlyPossibly the best thing praise for Apple that I’ve read in years.
What I see is a lot of DayGlo plastic that, next week, will be in a landfill. Not my idea of beauty. There is a saying, perhaps you’ve heard it before: beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
In actual use that rainbow stage arch looks so much better. The colors better match the logo colors when in use. The aerial photo definitely was not very flattering. In context, this looks good and I can now see why so much time needed to be invested in its creation and implementation. Thank you for posting these photos. So lady Gaga performed. And there were fireworks.

Oh and it looks like they were giving out these jackets? Or employees could purchase them?

It’s actually a structural element of the overall stage design and supports hundreds of pounds of lighting equipment. It’s definitely made of metal, and was designed to be used over and over again. But you still don’t have to like it... different strokes for different folksWhat I see is a lot of DayGlo plastic that, next week, will be in a landfill. Not my idea of beauty.
Sort of ironic to remove all PRSI comments when Tim Cook is clearly making a PRSI statement with all this rainbow stuff.

Not sure if just timing, or coincidence, but that light is forming a perfect apple logo leaf.In actual use that rainbow stage arch looks so much better. If that happened, I would boycott Apple for good.Countdown to Tim Cook officially reverting Apple's black logo mark to the rainbow logo mark... T-Minus... 5 .. 4 .. 3 ..
If that happened, I would boycott Apple for good.
Why would you do that?If that happened, I would boycott Apple for good.
I'm really curious about this myself. If that happened, I would boycott Apple for good.

Those are some pretty important years there. You know, birth of the company and all 😂🤷🏻♀️Yes, but not for long — only since the late ‘70s through to the early 2000s.
I love that rainbow. It reminds me of childhood in the 80s, and my first Mac, a Mac Classic II, which has been in my mom’s basement since the late 90s when we replaced it with another Mac. It still boots! Of course, then I have a 2009 iMac that is basically useless. My how things do change. The rainbow is meaningful, though. Anyone blubbering about it is either not old enough for it to matter to them, or just plain doesn’t ‘get it’.Love it! So fun to see the old rainbowish logo referenced in this way.
I like this old Jean-Louis Gassée quote:
“One of the deep mysteries to me is our logo, the symbol of lust and knowledge, bitten into, all crossed with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order. You couldn’t dream a more appropriate logo: lust, knowledge, hope and anarchy.”
