Ok, according to Support they have an iCloud Outage, it's been down since this morning... it was internal but for some reason is not displaying on the Systems page?

Apple Software is getting sloppy lately. Its not working at all even though they said it was a part of 11.2 I dont see anything. It makes me wonder what they i stalled on my device. Did I accidentally install a virus or malware. What was the point of all that?

Hehe, I've had the option show up, disappear, show up again, and disappear again... A no time when the option was available did it do anything other than tell me the service was unavailable when I tried to turn it on.

There it is.

One is categorically not allowed to complain when you get a raw deal from a company whose product is otherwise first rate.

How Soup Nazi-esque.
If you really want to make a point, why not e-mail Tim Cook or send general feedback to Apple?

No one here is saying you can't criticize Apple.

In any case, no one can please everyone all the time.

Oh, I have. It’s been ignored.

No one here is saying you can't criticize Apple.

You basically just got done saying *exactly* that.

No, but lately Apple’s seemingly been wearing clown shoes just to make it easier to trip over them.

Can confirm that the toggle has appeared on my phone here in Maryland near DC. Still get the “unavailable” error though.

I'm in Maryland and fully set up. Just keep plugging away at it. It will eventually relent and set you up.

Its not journalism. Apple never announced anything.
Well, they did announce this, they announced it 6 months ago, and Apple fans that read sites such as this have been waiting anxiously for it. Once word got out that APC would be in 11.2 (due to beta testers seeing info on it), people got more excited. Thus people assumed 11.2 would launch with APC. The 11.2 release notes even announced it, front and center.
How is that not announcing anything?

Nope, never said that at all.

You have a penchant for complaining about various things (Apple, MacRumors writers) in places where your voice is unlikely to be heard by those who can change the things you are upset with.

If it makes you feel better, fine. Keep moaning.

It's possible they have not yet added an APC line item to the iCloud status page (likely because it's so new).
