Sadly, this is a typical trajectory of a business leviathan. Once they become ultra successful, quality, support, and all that takes a nosedive.

Apple Pay Cash Now Available for iOS 11.2 Users

So no Apple Cash still today? Another awesome rollout by Apple along with the buggy software updates. Who is in charge of QC these days.
It seems Apple is throwing in the towel, at least momentarily. Oh well, I'll give it a shot when it returns, but this weekend (and Monday) is not going well for Apple.
I wish we could know approximately how many were successful in enrolling.

It took many attempts and some waiting when both setting up Apple Pay and verifying my ID.
Ahem, limited to much less than the USA.
LOLPhones will crash and we'll be back in business. Seriously though, none of my devices crashed on 12/2.
It became available for me today, but when I went into settings to set it up, I’m getting the error: “Apple Pay cash services are not available”.
I confirmed I have two-factor turned on and added my debit card to my wallet. I still do not see any hint of Apple Pay Cash.

i had the option to flip the switch in the settings now its gone.
Looks like it’s working on my iPad but didn’t work on my iPhone X, I toggled it off and now it’s totally disappeared from my phone lol
We'll never know. Plus there are people like me who deliberately turned it off.
Curiously when you turn APC off, the toggle switch completely disappears. There is no obvious way to regain access to APC again. Perhaps if 2-factor authentication is turned on it will show up again.

I have two-factor on and already had a debit card in Apple Pay. The toggle was there for me ~30 minutes after this article went up, it failed three or four times, then the toggle disappeared.

To send and receive money with Apple Pay, you must be at least 18 years old and you must live in the United States.2 You also need these things:
- A compatible device with iOS 11.2 or later.
- Two-factor authentication for your Apple ID. Make sure that you sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID on any device that you want to use to send or receive money.
- An eligible credit or debit card in Wallet, so you can send money. Learn how to add a card.
After you accept the Terms and Conditions, you can send and receive money with friends and family quickly, easily, and securely right from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.

Apple is asking for SSI numbers? Not getting mine. Only companies needing my SSI is my job, bank, and IRS.
You wait until Apple re-enables it server-side.
They turned it on, and some people got in. Then something happened and they disabled it. They'll have to fix their little problem and turn it back on again.
