You shouldn't have to. Mine popped up randomly while I was texting.WTF is the solution to everything logging out of iCloud? Yet logging out of iCloud is a royal pain in the ass and causes you to have to revalidate cards, redownload pictures, etc...
Apple pay cash "randomly" popped out of no where just now. I have not rebooted my iphone, and or logged out of my icloud account. I simply picked up my phone, unlocked it and a message popped up stating it was now available.
I asked my wife to send me a small amount of money to try it out. Initially it said it was unavailable and gave an error message. I then tried it a few minutes later and I was able to accept the payment.
No one is forcing anything.
But when you have to go through this multiple times in such a short amount of time in order to get everything working as it is supposed to, something is wrong.
Mine came back in a matter of hours. For those who do see Apple Pay Cash, but can’t activate...DO NOT toggle it off. It disappears completely.
Support suggests the toggle will eventually return later in the week or you can log out of iCloud and back in to try and force it to reappear.
Unless he’s literally quoting John Swigert from Apollo 13 and left out the reference to his name. As it turns out, he didn’t reLly say it anyway.Except that quotes is incorrect.![]()
Same here.Tried all day and always get "Could Not Set Up Apple Pay Cash: Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later." Not worth it to me to sign in and out of iCloud. I figure it'll work...eventually.

I got it on my iPhone courtesy of the public beta program... but nothing on my wife's phone... not even the option to enable it under Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay. Apple has really screwed the pooch with the details on both iOS and macOS this time around. I'm guessing 'It just works' is no longer the company's catch phrase.
Using the device’s gyroscope and accelerometer it adjusts color as you move.Just updated to 11.2 and saw the set up screen.
Right now I'm just trying to figure out how they got a hologram effect on the card image.

I bet your bank charges a fee for it though. For Apple users it doesn’t bother us it’s just between iOS devices. The integration with the software is what is so nice about it.I can send money to anyone with my bank app, they don't need to have the same bank. It works whether they use iOS or android or any email account for that matter. Unlike apple pay which needs to be apple user on receiving end.
I kept getting that same message. Signed out of iCloud again and it went through setup the first try.Tried all day and always get "Could Not Set Up Apple Pay Cash: Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later." Not worth it to me to sign in and out of iCloud. I figure it'll work...eventually.

It showed up for me in Maryland as well but when I tried to toggle it on in settings it said unavailable.Showing up for me in Maryland
Now why can’t they do THAT for wallpaper? So cool.Using the device’s gyroscope and accelerometer it adjusts color as you move.
Wow...you're so quick to blame the user. My point is--no one knows for sure that "just waiting" would solve anything. Apple never said, "Just wait and it will show up." They said, "It's part of this 11.2 update you're about to download" on Saturday. You assume that since you just waited and it showed up, that it would be the same for everyone. I had it on my X, but it wouldn't let me go through the process of verifying my ID. Had Apple offered any communication on what to expect, it'd be a different story. But when there's no communication on a) why a feature that was stated to be included in the update wasn't there and b) what to expect when the feature goes live, people are left to their own devices as to how to get the feature to work properly. You literally said you signed out of iCloud and signed back in just in order to get APC working for you. So yes, you and others tried to force it when all you had to do was wait.
I think the *something* there may be whatever you are doing to your devices, otherwise it's hard to see why one would have to repeatedly sync their iCloud photo library "multiple times in such a short amount of time", unless you are wiping your device every time a 0.0.X update comes out.

JUST WAIT, people.
I am up and running. Opened up wallet and the Apple Pay card was there. Just had to follow a few prompts and I’m good to go. Switch still MIA in settings! Strange.
