He’s repeating him self, because no one has the balls to give him an honest and direct answer. And they are afraid to admit as an adult that he is right.
This why the discussion has grown to 26 pages, too many feelings are involved and too many people are stubborn do to their feelings and their personal views, personal views that are driven by their personal feelings.

This is why our country is a cluster efing mess. Too many snow flakes with their feelings, continue to ruin this country.
He's repeating himself because that seems to be the bulk of his argument, his opinion.

Like you it seems. You think he's right so if he repeats himself he must be right. If someone else does and you don't like it, it must be wrong. The discussion grows if sides become entrenched. It doesn't become an easier when one side continually misrepresents what the other side is saying, just to further their own weak argument.

I commend you on your ability to gauge others feelings though, not so many seem to be attuned with the feelings of others as you seem to be.

Nowhere does it say that it’s dependent on the author, only that the app contains the content.

Much like when 500px was pulled for allowing access to nudity.

Twitter also allows access to nudity in the same manner.

500px got removed, because .... wait for it.... religious soccer moms and religious groups, dictate half the decisions in this country. The State and church was supposed to be separate. But I don’t see anyone baning them from any platform. Because they have the right to speak freely.

God made Adam and Eve, who walked around butt naked in heaven. Same soccer moms are total sex freaks, but go to church and pretend to be good. Bunch of hypocrites.

AJ app hosts offensive content.

Twitter app hosts offensive content (sources already provided)

Hosting offensive content is against Apple’s App Store rules (sources already provided)

AJ app is banned.
Twitter app isn’t banned.

Therefore, the rules aren’t being applied evenly.
See @mudslag or @GermanSuplex for explanations as you are likely to misinterpret what I would say again.

I have, and I have replied. To you and to them. Grasping at straws.

The author is irrelevant. No where does it state the offending content must be provided by the apps author in order for it to break their rules.

500px wasn’t the author of the nude images but that app was pulled.

Twitter also allows access to nude images, but remains on the store.

Again, even more double standards.

Next.

Standards that a private platform is allowed to apply. Really it's simple.

I repeat what has been said often:

When a Left-leaning person finds the Right's speech so offensive as to label it as "hate speech", know this that very often the Right-leaning person finds the Left's position to be so repugnant as to be hateful, as well. Yet, the Rightist person does not slur it with the label of "hate speech", because it's just not something that the people on the Right do.

So if both sides find the other side's ideology to be hateful, how it is equitable that, just because all the major Social Media corporations reside in the Leftist heartlands, that they get to ban whomever from the Right that they choose?

Instead, the Right and Left need to dialogue -- without any name-calling -- and debate the issue.
I don’t look at any issue as right versus left. I only care about what is real vs what is fantasy. The problem with people like Alex Jones and Trump is they just talk utter nonsense.

There's also the issue of what the app's primary purpose is. Current and past world leaders, celebrities, athletes, institutions, etc. are on Twitter. The app's purpose is not promoted as, geared to or encouraging of pornography. So, should Google Chrome be banned? Should messaging apps be banned because someone can send a nude selfie?

Alex Jones primarily and directly created content and pushed it out - content that was in violation of Apple's (and others') rules. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc. are not directly providing content that violates the rules. If Youtube, the company, started putting out videos on its platform that violated Apples rules, they probably would be banned until they corrected things.

At any rate, if we start following these "anyone should have a voice on any major platform" thing, then where do you draw the line? Should someone be able to go into a movie theatre and give a religious or political speech before the movie starts? I mean, its a garbage argument, for sure, but then again I think the same about Alex Jones being booted from these services as some huge miscarriage of justice.

They have applied them, unevenly. As I have demonstrated on multiple occasions.

Here’s some more examples in case you’re still not convinced.

Again this isn’t stated in any of the rules, you’re just making it up.

And you think this is about Alex Jones? lol not at all. It’s about mass censorship of anything that causes a threat to their collective leftist agenda.

This won’t stop with Jones, this is just the beginning. In fact it’s already in motion. And to think that everyone is whipped up in a frenzy about Russian meddling whilst they pull this **** right in front of our noses and expect us to ignore it.

Their service their rules, I bet their TOS covers more than most people are aware of. Majority tend to not even read through those given their length and legal jumbo. You can sure as hell bet Apple lawyers have it locked down to protect Apple more then the developers and users.

500px is available on the app store according to apple site

I know it’s their rules, but for the thousandth time I believe they aren’t applying them evenly.

500px was temporarily pulled because it allowed access to nudity.

And Alex Jones policies their own content. That’s irrelevant because we’re talking about Apple here.

Youtube is still on their store despite breaking the same rules.

I don’t support Alex Jones either, but I feel like this is a surpression of “wrong think”.

I’m giving examples of why I believe this whole thing is hypocritical of not just Apple, but the whole industry.

Maybe when this happens to a person you share an opinion with, you’ll care.

Peace out.
And if you want to listen to Alex Jones on your iPhone you can use the Youtube app to watch his videos.

Thank you for your compliment.

Apple is run by free speech hating fascist.

Well good thing this isn't about free speech then.

Well 500px is up now so I can't speak on that. As for "applying them evenly", they are not the gov and not obligated to treat anyone as equal to another. It's their service to do as they please.

Again this isn’t stated in any of the rules, you’re just making it up.

Apps with user-generated content or services that end up being used primarily for pornographic content, objectification of real people (e.g. “hot-or-not” voting), making physical threats, or bullying do not belong on the App Store and may be removed without notice. If your app includes user-generated content from a web-based service, it may display incidental mature “NSFW” content, provided that the content is hidden by default and only displayed when the user turns it on via your website.

So you agree they are being unfair in their rule enforcement.

Thank you. Finally.

I don't know if they are or not, I can't say either way. Im simply pointing out that it's their right to do as they please. Again if you use their services, you are choosing to do so freely.

Actually, reading those guidelines, its quite clear why Twitter, Youtube, etc. were treated differently than Infowars. I will read some of the Podcast rules later, but I'm assuming they're similar.

This type of debate came up earlier in the thread... you yourself are admitting that its not an answer you're looking for, but an agreement. You're offering up a "heads up, I win, tails down, you lose" ultimatum. There is a disagreement and a debate about it. Anyone can say "Why are you afraid to admit (insert poster here) is right?"

Because we disagree, maybe?

If they don’t agree, they should be blunt about it, instead prancing around it and avoiding it all together. A proper debate involves facts, not random thoughts or feelings constructed in to half ass argument, or derived from personal political choices/views.

Example:
Q. Is 2+2=4?
A. That’s left wing talk and hate speech!

Q. Do you think Michelin makes good winter tires?
A. Bananas are shaped like penis and should be banned from this planet.

It’s not that difficult or at least it shouldn’t be.

I don't see how after 27 pages of debates people haven't been clear on where they stand, but if that's your perception, there isn't much I'm going to do to change it.

Also, the web, user generated content and social media platforms are huge, diverse libraries of content. It's near-impossible to have black and white, cut and dry rules to debate in the manner you wish.

We'd be shutting down a lot of mosques, for example, if this is the way of it. But I'll wait while you explain how 'different' that would be.
How is Apple removing his app similar to shutting down a mosque? Nobody seized Alex Jones offices or confiscated his personal property. An independent company which has its own right to freedom of speech determined it wasn’t in their best interest to have a connection to him.

Out of curiosity, I just installed the 500px app.

I can’t find any nudity. Either I’m not good at searching or nudity has been removed from the app.
If nudity has been removed, then that’s Art censorship.

You have to enable NSFW option in settings. The app itself isn't the easiest to navigate to that option but you can enable via the web site and as long as you're logged in with the same account on the app then NSFW content will show up.
