Feel let down that reminders doesn't sync with to dos from MobileMe.. Anybody know is it'll do that with iCloud?

Now I feel stupid, but thank you!! I hadn't even scrolled down to check that...just assumed it would be enabled by default.
Ditto, I still have the Personal Hotspot option (Vodafone in the UK). Everything else works well, other than the fact you can't appear to delete an email address in Facetime.

hey i am not a developer but i downloaded itunes beta 7 and ios 5 gm which i installed successfully and am loving it so far, BUT i lost all my contacts, i backed up my phone (with the same version of itunes, 10.5 beta 7) before i restored it with ios5 but since i dont have an icloud account thats accessible right now i opted for the restore from backup with itunes but i am receiving a message that i dont recall exactly because i am at school right now but it is an error message that basically says restoring from that backup is not possible. is there anyone who can help me i would greatly appreciate it i cant lose my numbers!

Did you do a backup before you upgraded? The restore process ends with a synchronisation so the latest backup available will often be blank.
I updated 3GS to iOS5 GM, non-dev and no UDID. I can't seem to find a way to delete photos from photostream (I activated icloud and it seems to work fine, I can even log in at icloud.com, though photostream doesn't show up there). Also, I can't seem to make reminders be location aware, my only option is to have a reminder for a certain day/time.

If you right click on the iPhone name in iTunes (I assume this works in Windows, I only have it on Mac) then click "Restore from backup", you should get a list of recent backups there.
... I just read all threads to make sure this wasn't a repost. Personal Hotspots is missing from GM!! It's no where in the settings... can't tether!! This is the GM build??
Can anybody else confirm they have or do not have personal hot spot for tethering?
I ran into the same issue back in beta 7. No matter what I did or tried, tethering was missing from my iPhone. Now with the GM release I got it back.
Try updating your APN settings and resetting your network settings. (Settings>General>Reset>Reset network settings). That might help.
is it possible now to create a @me.com email address and convert my previous @gmail.com over to it so my iTunes store money credit is on that account?
Since upgrading to GM I now no longer have Personal Hotspot. On Orange in UK. Anyone else lost this ?

That's odd. I'm using iTunes beta 9 (Mac) which does so all of my historical backups.

whoops sorry didn't reload and went back and just quoted didnt realize you read it, doesnt beta 9 make you put that id number or whatever it is
