Probably s stupid question, but with all the members here... and, what, 300 apple stores, no one has seen what is in the back rooms or anything of the apple stores?

Well they did buy that huge data center a while back. What was it called again? A "tier 4" something or another.

They are shipped black wrapped, and the manager of the store has to authorize their being opened. So, generally, it's hard to get a leak that way.

In the past when I've seen these live they had music playing on the stream until it started... I've never seen this 404 issue before. I hope it works.

They used to do all the apple events live broadcast. The wwdc keynotes and the itunes ones.

I just sold my PowerBook and I'm temporarily on an IBM ThinkPad T42. Untill I get my new 20" iMac (this Saturday)

To be honest. That ThinkPad has an amazing build quality compared to my TiBook. It doesn't feel like it's going to break all the time.
