I t wasn't the fact that people were using wifi that lagged the show down, but the fact that people used their iphones as access points, that creates network interference, it wasn't a question of capacity, but of wifi pollution.

Lovely, smashing, fab and marvellous! - we all love the iphone etc...

Now where are the Mac Pros and screens???? :/

But the media were invited to report on it.. How do you know people with laptops weren't using 3G connections like Engadget were.
Because when they finally put down the computers/phones/whatever, the connection got better! Two times!

Aside from the Steve's presentation (in which I feel he handled his frustrations appropriately), does anyone else feel that the bumper case is way too overpriced? $29 for that case that only covers the edges. Ridiculous...just like the Zygna presentation.

Kinda yes.

Don't f**k with Farmville or my gf will send the Pink Tractor to get you. :D

How come wifi worked on the 3GS? Did I miss something?

Nope. Noticed that, too. Despite the excuses, it seemed to affect the new phone a lot more than the current one.

Have to reserve judgement on the efficiency of the new aerial set up in the new iPhone, since what you got in the hall is pretty much what you have to contend with out in public. Can't go around telling everyone to switch off their phones just so that you can use yours.

Interesting that apple chose to edit out the suggestion from the audience to "try verizon" when the networks and wifi wouldn't work. Not unsurprising, but interesting.

In every keynote from Jobs, there are always a couple of losers in the audience who squeal and scream constantly. It's incredibly off-putting. Today I realised that it's the same people each time. The same voices.

Wah. Just throw them out.

Nice find.

It feels like it is playing faster than normal speed. Steve also sounds like he is nervous, stumbling a little bit (at least in the beginning).

So it's just everything that iPhone 2g should've been? Don't you just hate "rush to market". How am I going ta sell my 3G with a split rear cover, now they have finally figured out how to build them properly.

I am not sure why so many are complaining about the stream. I watched all two hours of it on my iPhone over 3G with no problems. I even paused it , rewound it several times and re-started it several times with no hiccups.

I guess ymmv with these things.

In the past iTunes has the podcast the day after the stream is released.

Personally I feel that iMovie for iPhone and multitasking are the features I'll enjoy the most from iOS 4.0.

Wow I'm glad I didn't stay up waiting for the stream! Can't believe they didn't post it til 3am. Atleast now I'll have something to watch when I get home today before I go out for the celtics.

Worth watching again!

I read two live feeds (Engadget and MR live) real time, but oh man — watching the keynote today morning was still so exhilarating in ways no news or blog could even come close to, if you know what I mean! :D

I hope you live for a hundred years, Steve!

Pleaseeeeeeeeee

can anybody confirm if on June 24th will be on sale unlocked iphone 4 too?
I live outside US and I can't wait to buy this "magic" update!

"It just.................*pause background music - add ridiculous facial expression*...

...........................works"

Hope their marketing people come out with something new next year. Otherwise we'll see the exact same dialogue from Ive et al year in year out and they'll lose credibility.

I also hope SJ lives for another 100 years :)

Steve seems more healthy now. He has the eye of the tiger again.
Too bad they edited some stuff out but it is understandable.

No Phil this time. I wonder if Phil is ok?
