here's what you do about wifi problems
2 T1 connections
and make one hidden and only accessible from demo units

Why do you think that would work if the problem is that there is so much wifi interference in the air that the iPhone can't get a clear connection to a router? What does it matter if the router is connected to something fast from then on? I'm sure they were logging into a dedicated wifi network, but with 570 other wifi networks broadcasting into the same space, just getting to the needed network was the problem. Now somebody could have tossed Steve their MiFi and then at least he would have been connecting to a wifi right next to the iPhone. Maybe that would have helped.
If you dont like it, don't buy it. You can sit back and watch the rest of us play with this awesome product. There are plenty of other options (droid) or better yet, invent a phone yourself and show us all how it's done.
"glorified iPod touch" .....even if this was the case...explain to me why this is a bad thing?
Don't waste your time downloading it if you want to watch it in HD. The iTunes version is 640x360 like the current stream that's up.

Actually, there was a rumor awhile back that the iPhone 4g (which I am going on the record for what the next iPhone will be called) will have an 8mp camera. Hopefully bigger sensor too, like the 4. In addition, it will have 4g chips and 64gb of storage. Beyond that? Who knows. Probably touch sensitive back and RFID tagging, with a built in payment system. Speed bump, processor bump. BAM there's your next iPhone. Sorry to ruin it for you.

I think the delay in posting this video is it required much more post production editing than normal. All those WiFi errors on the phones didn't make it into the final version of the keynote that was posted. At least not in the version posted in the iTunes Keynote podcast feed.

That won't work when the entire spectrum is clogged with users setting up wi-fi. There was just way too much congestion going on.Overloaded wifi?

When I watched it at 7am ET, in iPad at full screen, the quality was stunning.
My guess is the resolution is inversely proportional to the number of simultaneous streams and I probably watched it before the rush hour.
So yes, the feed is HD or near HD just try again when there is less congestion.

Because, from PC World, wired and even your own youtube dude, iPhone 4 seems to have better specs than EVO (except for the 8MP camera - which doesn't really mean better).
Agreed, the real verdict is going to be from user experience. But from what I have read from hands-on impressions, I would put my money of iPhone 4 being a superior product.
And it will outsell EVO by at least a factor of 10.

The iPhone 4 does NOT have SUPERIOR specs than the EVO. Re-read my original post.
However I agree, the iPhone 4 is going outsell the EVO massively unfortunately.

I seriously doubt that. All they did is slip in a quick shot of the audience to cut out whatever portions they didn't want.
