Are you taking VAT into consideration...? Then it should be more favourable... and remember the dollar is very weak at the moment, and Apple wouldn't want to change the international prices weekly after currency rates...
Current exchange rate doesn't equal what the price should be. You have to take into account expenses in the UK that are out of Apple's control.

Don't buy that argument at all. Since most of this stuff is made in China these days, it's not as if there are extra expenses incurred in shipping.
Yes our prices include VAT, but there is ALWAYS a discrepacncy in US/UK prices. And always more expensive here.

Poor update. Apple haven't even updated the UK Shuffle page yet to reflect the new colours, just the store thats been done.

These colored anodized aluminum Shuffles are going to fly in the face of a whole bunch of companies who presented Shuffle Covers at Macworld in all sorts of colors and materials from heavy metal to ultralight rubber.LOL. Coloured shuffles. Unfortunately you have to buy them all, otherwise one day a week you might clash terribly

Why is it a poor update? Introducing different coloured Shuffles makes great sense.
You know that the US prices don't include tax don't you? So after you convert it, add tax, then you can compare more properly. That said, I know that you are still paying more.
Sorry I meant by not updating the shuffle page. I think the new colours are great, liking the orange.
Yes and we are paying vat as it is classed as A luxury item. An ipod is not a luxury item man its a necessity like everything else you pay VAT on as a luxury item like toothpaste and girlie thingies.
