LOL. Coloured shuffles. Unfortunately you have to buy them all, otherwise one day a week you might clash terribly ;)

AirPort Extreme 802.11n Enabler for Mac

Estimated Ship: Now

S$3.50 (from Singapore store)

$79 US today = 40.30 pounds

So why are we paying 55 pounds for a shuffle. Another prize example of RIP OFF BRITAIN.
Are you taking VAT into consideration...? Then it should be more favourable... and remember the dollar is very weak at the moment, and Apple wouldn't want to change the international prices weekly after currency rates...

Current exchange rate doesn't equal what the price should be. You have to take into account expenses in the UK that are out of Apple's control.

Just A Line Added To Mac Pro Processor Configuration Will Do For 8 Core Option

Why ??

They could just add an octo as the new high end, and keep the existing ones.

The other manufacturers do this - you get the choice of quad 3 GHz or octo 2.66 GHz.
This is how I expect it to be done. Just an added line to the configure page. I also expect the Dual Clovertown motherboard to be different with Stoakley-Seaburg on board.

And I hope we get a Blu-ray option that won't break the bank like under $500.

Not noticed the "iPod Store" different page before. Is that new, or am I just unobservant?

what? when ? how? why?

i just got into MR and saw thread about new products.. got all exicted and found out it's shuffles in colour..

*yawns*
*logs off MR*

if only they had an ipod nano in orange

Don't buy that argument at all. Since most of this stuff is made in China these days, it's not as if there are extra expenses incurred in shipping.

Yes our prices include VAT, but there is ALWAYS a discrepacncy in US/UK prices. And always more expensive here.

And we live in a better, more cultured, more intelligent country. You pay for what you get!

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?

And did the Countenance Divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among these dark Satanic Mills?

Bring me my Bow of burning gold:
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear! O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire.

I will not cease from Mental Fight,
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land.

:p

Too Bad For The New Shuffle Cover Makers

LOL. Coloured shuffles. Unfortunately you have to buy them all, otherwise one day a week you might clash terribly ;)
These colored anodized aluminum Shuffles are going to fly in the face of a whole bunch of companies who presented Shuffle Covers at Macworld in all sorts of colors and materials from heavy metal to ultralight rubber.

And yes Orange is the new Black.

Thanks for that astute observation samh004. :p

I thank you

hence my quote "rip off britain"

The thing is if they are releasing a new iLife then product pages for iLife will obviously need to be changed as well as the details on every single piece of Apple Hardware that comes bundled with it.

The four products are colored Shuffles. It's on the Apple Store web pages.

You know that the US prices don't include tax don't you? So after you convert it, add tax, then you can compare more properly. That said, I know that you are still paying more.

Yes and we are paying vat as it is classed as A luxury item. An ipod is not a luxury item man its a necessity like everything else you pay VAT on as a luxury item like toothpaste and girlie thingies.
