I sure hope at night in a dark room it is.I mean, the camera is pretty visible on the front...

The bezel is wide enough for the TrueDepth camera system, no notch needed! The iPhone wouldn’t need one either, if it had a 9mm bezel.Fake, there is not notch. No notch no buy.
Man, Face ID on this iPad is going to SUCK.
My favorite position in the iPad Kama Sutra is this:

Leaning over the iPad just to get a Face ID lock is going to be ridiculous.
Lightning port will not be replaced by USB-C .

Wait for the pricing . I sense a significant rise
What is PWM?Hopefully the screen does not use PWM like iPhone XS which makes it unusable to a lot of people!
For sure they will introduce new Mac products, the October Event will be too short if they show us only the new iPads. An event later this month is looking likely at this point. Just wonder if there are any Mac filings to indicate a new iMac or Mac mini will be introduced at the event.
I can sense the new iPad will have a monster price increaseI can sense the new iPad will be a monster seller.
You mean you can unlock your phone while the phone is in a landscape orientation?
I wasn't planning on upgrading but my wife is fed up with her iPad Mini 2 so what's a guy to do?

The one nuisance about the bezel-less iPhone! I’m starting/learning to hold the phone just as you mention. Would not like to have to do that with a new iPad…Palm/Finger rejection has been terrible on my X and and Xs. So I cam very curious as to how you're supposed to hold and use an even larger device with no "safe space" to grab and hold it. Maybe balance it in one hand like a waiter holding a server platter?

I just want a new one so it drives the price down of the current model. There will probably be a price hike on these new iPads... I will just take the old one at a reasonable price.
You have trouble reading don’t you? Right under the picture it’s captioned states it’s a mockup photo. Also as someone else pointed out, you don’t need a notch when the whole screen is surrounded by a bezel like the iPad.Fake, there is not notch. No notch no buy.
What do you mean? It will unlock like it does today, as long as your hand isn't covering it. It just won't work upside down.
Where is the Mac event????
MAC EVENT ???
SCREW iPAD EVENT, THERE ARE ENOUGH NEW IPADS OUT THERE !
MAC MAC MAC !!!
Nope, the current implementation on the iPhone X that I have now is I have to face the phone in portrait orientation in order to unlock it. But the phone does not have landscape mode, so not a major issue.Nope, but it’ll work the same way, just in landscape. So no change to the user.

Get the $329 iPad for her.

I don’t think it’s going to be above $699 for the 64 GB.
That's the point isn't it. It'll be very very interesting where they place the FaceID sensors. "You're holding it wrong."
Wait, you already have an iPad Pro with FaceID and you've unlocked it in landscape mode?
Unlocking my iPad Air 2 with TouchID is not a problem in landscape mode but the rumors are that you have to hold the iPad Pro with FaceID upright just to unlock it like the XS Max. It will be annoying when you're using it in landscape mode and have to always pick it up and hold it upright just to unlock it. That's what I meant.
Please Apple, please "one more thing": iPad Mini 5.
If it's about profit margin, just charge enough for it to make it as profitable per unit sold.
Interested to see how the iPad Pro will unlock with FaceID when in landscape mode.
Three model numbers could mean an ipad mini as well, right?
