There are several reports since yesterday that this beta resolves Watch (Series 4, non-beta Watch OS) battery drain problems. So I am already downloading it.
Please let us know, I had to go back to IOS 12 because of that issue.

why are they having so many problems with the share sheet. it still takes a good 8 seconds to load and now the icons are spaced too far apart.

Is my 55GB music library and all my playlists that Public Beta 4 deleted 2 days ago going to magically return?

I was really hoping the phantom draft email bug would've been fixed.
I deleted the mail app (without deleting accounts or anything else), Reinstalled it and that fixed the draft bug for me.

Do you guys recommend downloading iPadOS 13 beta on my iPad pro? Or does it still have a ton of bugs?
I installed it on 2 10.5 Pros and I’m shocked at how good it is. It’s more fluid and quicker than iOS12 with ZERO frame rate drops. Selecting text is very accurate, works like it always should have. I haven’t seen a hit to battery life yet. Aside from some design layout tweaking, its very good.

Has anyone had any luck running the VNC iPad app on the new iPadOS? Not tried the latest beta but haven’t had any luck on previous beta versions of it. Thanks.

This design is so terrible. I get the functionality point of view but come on... the clock and date line don't even bottom align with the top row of icons. This looks so disjointed.

Seems better aligned now.

so should i not install this if im an apple watch user? (on 5.3...not beta)
I’ve been running iOS 13 dev betas since release in June with my Series 2 watch still running 5.3 and haven’t had any issues with it works as it did prior to using iOS 13 only thing that isn’t there is the Find My Friends app but never used it anyway so no loss there. I think the release notes mentioned the watch as I know they have been telling developers to update the watch beta then the phone or it won’t connect anymore but still maintains compatibility with 5.3 as far as I can tell and I don’t think they offer the watchOS beta to public testers as if they brick them they need to be sent back to Apple

Welcome to the new Apple! Where menu settings make no sense and aesthetically-pleasing design takes a backseat to ... well, everything else. At some point they realized it just didn’t matter anymore, I personally believe that was when people settled for The Notch. Once that walked, they realized a totally lower bar was possible and nobody would think twice.

Yeah, that’s a horrible design, but how many will care and be vocal about it? Not enough.

Great tip. Can confirm that I also just did that and it seems to be fixed.
Sorry for the dumb question, but how do you do delete the mail app and reinstall while preserving your accounts? I only have 2 POP accounts in Mail so will those accounts be preserved?

I don’t get it. My date and time are aligned with the first row of icons/folders.

Seems to be fixed now, but keep in mind that when they develop something new, it is functionality first, design details are fixed later. Which makes sense, you do not want a developer nitpicking on the pixels when not all functionality is fixed yet. On the other hand, hopefully we will one day move to a better way off handing of designs to developers so this stuff happens less.

Based on what I see now, the Apple Watch S4 battery drain has been resolved. After my phone updated, I rebooted my watch also and so far, it's been sitting pretty on 62% if battery for a while now (before the % would drop faster even if I did nothing actively on it). I also see that the standby time seems to be reported correctly now through watch app on the phone. So looks very encouraging as far as that goes!
