A lot of people saying the whole no 13th floor thing is for horror movies and not actually a thing in the US. Just for fun, I checked my works elevator in Atlanta, GA. To my surprise, there is no 13th floor.
More proof that Americans can't count.A lot of people saying the whole no 13th floor thing is for horror movies and not actually a thing in the US. Just for fun, I checked my works elevator in Atlanta, GA. To my surprise, there is no 13th floor.
The unread count seems to be working correctly - at least for now. I went in and did a mix of things on multiple accounts (mark as read, delete, etc.) - unread count updated immediately and correctly, even for the work Exchange account. Mails are still very slow to load, but really long threads seem to be fetched/displayed already. But I’m sure the code will taint and corrupt itself in a few days and things will start to malfunction again.Mail is absolutely atrocious right now. I do not get an unread badge on the app icon even though it's enabled, when a message is received and the app is opened, there will be a blank space where the email is. You can click it and open it, but it's just a blank space. Notifications are very slow to come with mail as well. It's a hot damn mess right now.
I have the same issue on an iPad Air 2.Just updated on iPad Mini 4 - automatically, even though I had automatic updates turned off -
And folder backgrounds no longer work correctly.
If you drag the app and then use another digit to dismiss the folder, it still works.
FYI, XCode 11 beta 7 is out but only works with Catalina beta 7 which isn't out yet.

Release notes make a point of stating when beta 7 becomes available. The words used “update to MacOS Catalina beta 7 when it becomes available”FYI, XCode 11 beta 7 is out but only works with Catalina beta 7 which isn't out yet.
While it seems odd, this is not unexpected to me at all. iOS 13.0 is a disaster and since beta 2 I've known that this was going to be a bomb of a release. And clearly they know it, because they are going to move right past 13.0 (never releasing it to the general public) and skip to 13.1 which will be the bare minimum for public consumption.
I am so confused right now... lol
They had betas for two different versions of an OS out before. Releasing a 13.1 beta thus is far from proof that they will skip 13.0. They've just moved some featured into 13.1, to make it easier for what remains in iOS 13 to get more polished. While it seems odd, this is not unexpected to me at all. iOS 13.0 is a disaster and since beta 2 I've known that this was going to be a bomb of a release. And how many examples from the software world do you have of skipping version 13 (or x.13)?Check airplane rows. No 13th row of seats either. We been skipping 13 in the States since forever. However, long that is.![]()
Computer says “nooooo”Are we going to see a MacOS 10.16 beta today too?
No. 13GM public version, while we test iOS 13.1...sooo are we going from 13.1 to 13.0GM?

Releasing 13.1 beta before releasing 13.0 GM, on the same profile as 13.0, is all the proof you need. If that doesn't make it clear to you, then you just don't want to see it I guess. They had betas for two different versions of an OS out before. And - you cannot use any of Apps in folders in the doch for for iOS multitasking gestures (Split View / Slide Over) -Still two major problems with the iPadOS dock:
- You still cannot rearrange icons in folders that are in your dock. It puts the icon on the home screen. You have to drag the folder onto the home screen and then move the icon back into the folder.
- Multitasking with apps that are in folders on the dock is still broken and has been since about DB4. You used to be able to tap a folder in the dock to open it and then drag and app inside that folder for multitasking. Still broken here.
