What problem do you have with 14? Been great for me even on betas and everyone I've talked to agrees.hoping this runs better than iOS 14.0

Just when I started using 14.0 final version and had moved out of the beta train. Oh well.. here we go again.!
When will Homepod support Spotify? I only gave in and bought a Homepod because I thought support was coming in iOS14 and guess what... nothing.
Yeah, because iOS 14 has felt way better than iOS13 since the first beta IMHO
Sorry, I must have expressed myself incorrectly. I took sides with you agreeing on the matter. For me iOS 13 was a nightmare, beta or stable version. I remember really bad battery draining at the early stages of iOS 13 and really bad heating. I adopted the beta for iOS 14 the moment it aired. I couldn't be happier, its faster than iOS 13, the features have prevented me from rolling back and overall I love it.I guess I am missing your point. You stated you hope 14.2 runs better then 14.0. In what ways are you not finding 14.0 runs well?
Spotify needs to get their app’s iOS 14 update submitted to the App Store (if they haven’t already), it needs to go through Apple’s review process, and you need to download the app update once it rolls out. Plus make sure your HomePod is updated. Then it’ll theoretically work.
The latest beta of the HomePod software has been labeled as 14.1 so whenever we see iOS 14.1, we will probably see the HomePod update too. However with Apple jumping straight to 14.2 in this beta cycle, who knows when that might be.There hasn't been an update to the Homepod, surely that will need to go to version 14 before it works?
It's still 13.4.8.
In what way?

9to5mac.com said something about this not being available over the air? I may not understand what they are saying.
For now, the iOS 14.2 update is available exclusively through the Apple Developer portal, so those who prefer to install new versions of iOS through the Over-The-Air system will have to wait a bit longer.
Still no OTA in UK, grrrrrrrr
Look up in the thread. Sounds like OTA’s may be delayed.
So does 14.2 exclude things that could out new iPhone 12 features?Likely to avoid leaks of the iPhone 12 lineup.
