Its already out for iOS devs today.
Are you also running the latest beta of 10.6.5?Has anyone gotten AirPlay or the wireless printing to work? I can't even find references to it in 4.2 on my iPad. I've got Pages, etc and plenty of media...

What a bad move, just hold down the volume rocker.. Can't believe Apple changed it

ah, I don't get viruses on my Windows 7 (or XP, or Vista) machines (6 ea.) either. geez, you act like everyone without an Apple device MUST have viruses. I've been computing since 1985 and while I had a couple decades ago, I haven't had a virus in so long I can't count the years. you might want to stop with the "apple is so superior" attitude.
My iPad update just fine to 4.2. However my iPhone 4 failed to upgrade... In fact it killed it.. I had to restore.. First I tried to restore to 4.2 and that failed too I'm now restoring back to 4.1!! Anyone had this???
I'm not understanding why the OS X update is needed for AirPrint. It sounds like the AirPrint-enabled printer must be connected to a Mac with 10.6.5 (either through a physical USB cable or through AirPort). So I'm not clear how AirPrint is different than good old Printer Sharing. What part of the picture am I missing?
Stupid question but did you add your iphone 4's UDID to your developer's account?

My iPhone's UDID is registered, but when I try to restore the phone to the 4.2 beta it fails and I have to restore the phone to 4.1.
How many people are experiencing this?
Has anyone with an iphone 4 installed iOS 4.2 beta successfully?
