I have not run into any bugs so far. O365 sends and receives through the mail app just fine.

Then maybe they shouldn’t have shipped this build as a public beta.

Yes, it comes with disclaimers. Yes, you have to opt in. But the entire point is in fact for millions to start installing this build over the next few days. They’re inviting people to do so via e-mail as we speak. They want to collect feedback, gather crash reports and other analytics, and yes, they do want to know how people feel about the quality.

Yes, you’re correct. I’m talking about the folks that simply "want the newest", but will only whine if they run into bugs instead of reporting, researching, asking for help (as on MR), generally trying to be "testers", etc.

Apple says clearly that it is a beta. Doesn't matter if it is public or not, NEVER install as a "daily driver". It is meant for testing ONLY until stable public release in September. It is up to every single person to decide if they want to install it. It is not like Apple is pushing this out to the unknowing public lol

That’s fair - but knowing public, it’s safe to assume they’re going to do things in a manner that’s characteristically ‘unknowing’. Ever heard someone say ‘gee, I had no idea ....’?

Download manager in Safari is great but no iOS browsers allow extensions so unable to download anything from YouTube. :(

How to have two apps (could be same or different ones) running side by side the screen? From some videos, one drags the icon(s) from the dock but by doing so, I removed icon(s)from dock.

Why the top 1/6 of the screen is empty? Why Apple does not move the icons a bit higher up the screen? It is kind of waste of screen estate.

Yes, which is why I already had it installed last week.

Doesn’t change that Apple republished them, deliberately, as a public beta. That the build number is the same doesn’t matter. Eventually, there will be a golden master that will have the same build number as what used to be a beta. Doesn’t make that golden master a beta.
What point are you even trying to make? :) You know enough to download a developer beta release but you also think it’s somehow “more refined” than the same code that was made available last week? Do a diff and let us all know exactly how much more refined it is.

I made no such statement. It’s obviously an identical build.

As for making a point, you claimed it was a “developer beta”. It was last week. Now, it’s also a public beta.

Had no trouble installing on aTV4, iPad Air 3, or SE. Only used iPadOS so far all I’ve noticed is a glitchy folder background and the fact that on Dark mode private and regular browsing modes look virtually identical on Safari.

Loving this update already. haven't experienced many bugs at all and the new features seem to work great. I think they should make this the gold master and ship it!!

One of my favorite new features is the ability to scan documents directly into the "files" app as a PDF. I liked that they had it available in notes, but I don't typically want scanned documents in the notes app. This is an awesome addition.

I can honestly say, iPadOS is the most satisfying OS update I ever installed from either Windows, macOS, or iOS. Apple really annihilated all expectations with this one. No complaints over here, this is amazing.

I’m really impressed. So far, it’s super stable for me. The added features are very useful. The design changes are gorgeous. And the app launches and Face ID unlock actually is noticeably faster. This might be my favorite big iOS release ever.
