People that keep saying it’s a beta yes it is but public beta should not be this messy nearly a month till public iOS 11 isn’t that much changed to 10 so they should have just built it upwards not this bad so on this forum ppl moan when you say it’s bad but it’s true beta 4 was good now it’s got wrose

I'm very happy that the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi disable like they should.

So far no major issues here and device seems smooth to me.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

You do have a point. I just installed PB4 and I’m not impressed at all. I’m a bit nervous at the pace Apple is going to get iOS 11 ready but since it is beta, we’ll have to give Apple the benefit of the doubt.

Bugs since installing PB4:
-Software Update (1) badge still there after updating. Can’t remove it.
-Black lock screen when quickly pushing lock button twice
-Maps Destination widget seems broken.

If this was found in less than hour, I wonder what I’ll find in a week...

Okay so I know this is beta and I've run betas on my personal device before but how annoying are the bugs right now? All the "this is a mess" posts are pretty dramatic- is this honestly best avoided?

I'm installing now, because "this is a mess" posts so far aren't pretty dramatic... they're completely void of supporting detail, which is pretty melodramatic IMO. If someone wants to say WHY it's a mess, then maybe their post will carry some weight. But what I've seen so far is the equivalent of leaving a 1-star app rating and just commenting "App is bad."

Tell us what isn't working, how it's negatively impacting your user experience...

You don't seem to understand how Operating Systems work, do you?

Thank you!

for those that keep posting about how horrible PB4 is would you PLEASE enlighten the rest of us and toss some actually "I've experienced these issues and here is why it sucks" input? Otherwise just shut it.

Downloaded and installed myself. Issues I've seen in the past have been resolved (no top X for notification window, now playing in command center not actually showing anything playing at all, wonky bluetooth connection issues, to name a few).

Hopefully there are only a few new issues to report and Apple starts banging out weekly Beta updates :)

iOS 11 Public Beta 4 appears to have resolved the issue with Apple Watch not displaying Music details, which had been an annoying problem for me since the first release.

This beta fixes a few errors that i've been having. 1 when you select an article in "News" to send to a contact you don't have to tap the button (up arrow) to initiate this multiple times. 2. when searching for a contact to send a message to the first contact is no longer hidden. 3. Evite now works.

Nor do they understand basic sentence structure and punctuation.
[doublepost=1502219141][/doublepost]I'm happy I finally see that the issue surrounding removing a call from the Recent tab in Phone doesn't automatically duplicate the top entry each time a entry is removed. :)

Installed on my iPad Pro 9.7, running very smoothly. But i’ve only been using it for an hour, so time will tell. I’m so impatient, i wanna install on my iPhone 7 Plus, but i know its not recommend as its my daily driver.

EDIT: As pointed out, I posted iPad Pro 9.5, which was of course incorrect

Think I’ll stick with pb3 on my 10.5” for a bit longer, or at least till I hear more feedback. Experienced virtually no issues with it, been very stable for my useage. The only repeated bug I’ve seen through natural use (as oppose to reading about then testing known issues) is the settings page crashing a few times and, rarely, home screen lag.

Have you never run the public betas before? It's amazing how much everything comes together in the last two releases.

Keep filing bugs so they get fixed. It's fine.

You either got a special crippled version of the beta or you’re being overly dramatic, I think the latter is obvious

I don't know. This beta seems pretty bad for me as well. Animations are jittery. There is an annoying pause swiping between home screens. Messages app shows messages and then nothing.

From PB 3 to 4, I've also lost 200 points in single core and 400 points in multi core Geekbench scores.

For what it's worth, I've done two hard resets since installing.

Didn’t have much trouble with the previous public beta, but Safari is crashing on me every time I read a reading list entry for the first time. Once I try again it works, so it’s an annoying problem. Am seeing more ‘too many redirect’ errors as well
Worse is I can no longer delete anything in the Safari reading list without crashing. The item is gone when I get back in, but that one is even more annoying lol.
