THIS IS AWESOME! SO GLAD I UPDATED RIGHT AWAY!!

:mad::mad::confused::oops:
If you are being sarcastic and really not happy with 10.2, you should downgrade back to 10.1.1 while you still can. Should be able to for a day or two but sooner the better in case they close it down.

So why doesn't my Hulu watchlist show up on the TV App? I connected it...Can't get it to show on my iPhone or ATV4.

WTF?! Device exclusive wallpapers? What sort of s**t show is this? Apple, are you even for real right now? Get a bloody grip and stop screwing people over.

They're just wallpapers, but it's more the fact it represents Apple's whole attitude towards people who don't choose to upgrade to the newest devices. They make old devices run like crap and withhold simple features.

Lol we've officially run out of things to get worked up about and complain about. This is just scraping the bottom of the barrel. Seriously wallpapers? You can get millions of great wallpapers online, who even uses the Apple provided wallpapers?

OK, so how do I delete a home video from my iPhone now with this new TV app? Used to be able to do it directly from the phone, but I can't find anyway now.

Edit: Nevermind... I found a way. Can't do it from the TV app directly. For those who might be interested... go to settings, general, storage and icloud usage, manage storage. Then can remove a video from the TV app.

Done update.

The most obvious changes is the home wallpaper no longer dimmer down a lot, now looks like maybe only 1% dimmer than actual.

I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but they fixed the grouping names showing up over songs in Music! I add the record/label name in iTunes and this was very annoying with MP3s in big albums like this.

I don't see any new wallpaper...
For some silly reason, Apple made the new wallpaper exclusive to the 7/7+. For the life of me, I can't fathom why? Maybe Apple hopes this will spark a run on upgrades!

The TV app is half baked. It now takes 2 or 3 extra steps to play my home videos. It looks like they deleted the delete function which makes no sense. Information that was previously listed is gone, basically only the title and time is left. This has become typical Apple, changing a core app for their benefit at the expense of ease of use for us. Give us a dedicated app for our home videos and restore it to what it was. It's like Apple decided to give us all a lump of coal for Christmas.

Thanks, I don't use emojis so I wasn't aware of this, never really took the time to research about them at all. I am not sure if you're directing the emoji whining part to me, but I wasn't whining about it. I'm actually glad that Apple implemented a standard and not something that is proprietary to Apple!
No it wasn't directed at you, just the people taking the time to get truly upset over their mere existence. :D

Dumb. Just so dumb.

So far no TV app for Canada. It's still showing the VIDEO app after the update. Luckily also have a US account and when I switched accounts, the VIDEO app turned into the TV app! Unfortunately when I switched back to my Canadian account the app returned back into the VIDEO app... =(. Oh well.

Yup, TV apps only for USA.

So someone at Apple said to his iOS development team "ok, instead of just swiping to the left, revealing the delete button, why don't we just bury that functionality deep into the settings and see how that works out"...GTFO Apple.

Same problem here. Strangely, putting the device into Airplane Mode pops them all back into the library. Leaving Airplane Mode hides them again... Strange

Same here. I can actually get it t play the video after i toggle airplane mode on and off. Completely bizarre behavior.

Is it me or does the new TV app not have a landscape mode for the Plus models of iPhone like the Videos app it replaced?
It does have a landscape mode.

Maybe 10.3 will bring back the Videos app and in the release notes Apple will say "due to customer feedback, we're introducing a new dedicated Videos app for your home videos" and you can imagine how some of that feedback will be like.

The Library section only seems to cover cloud-playback of content that you purchased/rented from iTunes. Local on-device is unfortunately not included, and neither is content that is available on the local network via Homesharing.

EDIT: Sorry, what I wrote above is wrong (for iOS). To access local and "homeshared" content, you need to expand the "Library" title.
I can get home shared content on my updated iPad, but not my updated iPhone; that's odd. Anyone else experiencing this?
