I know my Escort 360 Max radar detector's iOS software won't properly stay paired via bluetooth with the detector anymore, ever since the iOS 11 update. Would be nice if these bluetooth issues were fixed too, but not counting on it.

Will it fix the Bluetooth issue, where it keeps shows connected although it's not connected.

Usually when there is no connection it would show up as disabled only active but it show that Bluetooth is on but connected. List shows that there is no connection ?? People have reported it and waiting for an update for that (iPhone 7)

Seems to have fixed Bluetooth being autoenabled when you come out of Airplane mode (when it wasn’t on before going to Airplane).

No, you really don't get it do you? What people would like is for the OS to contain less bugs period.

Ohhhhhhh. See, all this time us software developers thought you guys like bugs.

Everyone gets that. Everyone would like to have fewer bugs. Nobody, however, is willing to pay the inevitable cost: fewer bugs means development takes longer, is costlier, and has fewer features.

I'm having Bluetooth issues since 11.0 with my car audio (2017 Subaru). Songs skip or restart for no reason. I'm hoping this fixes it. I did not have this issue with 10.3.3.

If not, I may have to resort to 10.3.3. Anyone know where I can get the 10.3.3 file?

I have an iPhone 7 and a 7 Plus, and NO battery drain with iOS 11.

Though I do think that iOS 10 was more responsive.

P.S. were you able to get your data onto the phone after downgrade, or were you pretty much starting from scratch?
i downgraded from scratch unfortunately, restored to iOS 10.3.3 with the IPSW

It was only for me or someone else is in the same boat with me?? >>>>> For me it is 11.1 beta (15B5066f)!!! Can someone try to explain this???
Not following you but are you saying you got offered 11.1 not 11.0.2? If so its because you have the beta profile installed and will need to remove that before checking for updates.

11.0.1 fixed SOME of my bluetooth issues in my BMW, but I noticed my songs would just start playing out of nowhere when I had a podcast or radio app going and have to switch back to them, so hopefully this does the trick.

I really wish I could tolerate Android. iOS is becoming less polished and reliable, in my experience. Poor battery on 11 is my main issue right now. But for me 11.x has been quite the **** show.

In terms of industrial design, I think they’ve gone off in a disturbing direction. The camera protrusions + thinner devices really is quite ungainly, and the notch on the X. It’s as if they’ve made that thing look that odd on purpose to be recognisable, trademarkable, and the bezels are still prominent. Releasing the 8/8+ with LCD screens and MASSIVE bezels too and bottom at the end of 2017 just isn’t on. Imagine if another manufacturer did this. They’d be the laughing stock.

Don’t get me started on dongles. “It just works”, yeah, if you’ve the right dongle!

I think they’ve lost the plot, but they’ve become so big and profitable... and the alternative is Android.

For me they’re the lesser of two evils.

I’m so much happier in iOS 11.1 beta, it feels snappier in 6s plus, and the battery is a lil bit better too, or it could just be me.

did 11 GM slow down your phone? My 6s is slow as f*** iMessage takes forever to toggle between actions for example.

Ok so I tried updating my iPad mini 2 to 11.0.2 but it does nothing. So clearly I think the update needs to be fixed

Well this has bricked my iPad Air 2 - Keeps rebooting and loading to a flashing screen and rebooting again. Hooray!
Working fine on mine!
Did you upgrade OTA?
I upgraded through iTunes on my MacBook pro.

iOS 11 is the worst iOS experience by far. I don't even remember last time i rebooted my phone this much. Crazy.
Damn that's a bummer! 11 was great on my 6 and running great on my 8+..
seems good on my iPad air 2 as well.
Weird ;(

iOS 11 tanked my 6S's battery life and made the phone warm almost all the time. Could barely get 2 hours of screen on time.

Just updated to 11.0.2 and it seems like the phone is significantly cooler (not warm to hold). Wonder if this means I'll get some battery life back.

Updated, calling sounds better, however download speeds on wi-fi are INSANELY slow. Compared to my iPad and Mac:

iPhone .62mb/s
iPad 59.50mb/s
Mac 49.90mb/s

Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings
You'll lose Wifi PW's, but this is the thing to do whenever WiFi or Cellular performance takes a dive.
