Can we all say "Vista."![]()
I got real excited, even texted friends recommending they update before I did it.... now... disappointed. Guess we’ll have to wait a few more days, according to the update to the article.Apple cash appears to be disabled at the moment. Updated to 11.2 and no options anywhere to turn it on.![]()

But with added features, it does tax the processor more. The older the chip, the more taxing. This applies to everything in life basically.
You’re lying, because if you did read, you’d know it’s not out yet.yes is did, if you are not going to be helpful than please keep to your self.
What features from iOS 11 does the 5S gain, really? 99% of the major iOS 11 features don't apply to the 5S, and the few that do are just re-designed areas (lock screen, control center). iOS 11 has been the biggest hit to performance I've seen with the 5S, even iOS 9 and 10 (which added a good number of useful features to the 5S) hardly had any performance impact. It feels like 11 added almost nothing and really hurt the performance at the same time.https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/09/ios-11-on-the-iphone-5s-slower-but-not-quite-slow/
Slower from new features.
Got it. My bad.Do you have Control Center enabled on lock screen/cover sheet?

What does "others nearby" mean? Just Wi-Fi networks it can detect at that time? So if I drive to work, it will kick back on and connect to my work Wi-Fi? Also, what time is "tomorrow"? Will it turn back on at 12:01am? It's so ambiguous, and I agree it looks like garbage having a modal popup occur there, and it doesn't really serve to help anything. Does the popup at least go away if you toggle it on/off a few times?Having pop up notifications in CC is a hideous aesthetic,
I dont care what functional/educational purpose it serves.
Beyond hideous

Fast charge not working for iPhone 8Plus on RawPower wireless charger: getting orange light blinking instead of the green one wtf !Both iPhone X don't fast charge on the ravpower wireless charger that does support 7.5W. Looks like it is either not working or they block non certified chargers.

I always do the software updates right away, but I am not upgrading to 11.2 until Apple Pay Cash comes out. Like... what the heck Apple? How is that and iMessage in the cloud so difficult to release?
iOS 11.2 introduces Apple Pay Cash to send, request, and receive money from friends and family with Apple Pay. This update also includes bug fixes and improvements.

What a nice excuse from Apple to charge three times as much for a fast charger. Also I think RawPower should clarify whether their chargers are enabled on iPhone X/8/8PlusYou need to buy official compatible wireless charger.
Non authorized third party chargers have been disabled in 11.2 for safety reasons at fast charging.
List of officially supported wireless chargers can be found here: https://www.apple.com/shop/iphone/iphone-accessories/power-cables

That setting is now exclusively located in Settings>Touch ID (or Face ID) & Passcode. It moved a few releases ago.
