Wrong, because I don’t need to as mine is fine, always has been, it’s only Apple who have been deliberately throttling my phone for NO reason until today.
Plus the nearest Apple store is about an hours plus drive, and I’m not driving there to be told yes you can have a battery, we’ll call you when we have one and give you five days to get here..

And my phone is under warranty till the end of this year, and I’m not going to replace the battery myself to breach that.

It’s omly worth replacing my battery once the warranty runs out in it.

?? you don't void any warranty lol....

iPhone X - bought week after launch - still 100%

I'm charging it daily (occasionally after 1,5-2 days) when it goes down to 40-20% (trying to don't go to / lower than 10%), or topping when I'm going out.
Using original Apple cable that comes with iPhone and TP-Link UH720 USB Hub with 2.4A charging port.

so, is iOS11 stable by now or people still supporting on staying on iOS10?
I am tired of Apple requesting me to upgrade

Ah, yeah, mine updates. In fact, when I go to my widgets, I'll see a brief flash of the weather app as it changes to whatever it is currently. During the course of this thread, I've been watching it, and it's changed throughout the day, whenever I look at it, appropriately. I wonder if there's something goofy with whatever weather service you're getting your data from? Not sure, but mine acts appropriately. :-/

This also works for me. I was doing a screen record to show this stuff working (until I realized you can't upload .mp4's to this forum and didn't want to be bothered making an account on a video sharing website, etc), and in preparation for that, and while doing a few different takes, I'd get notifications on my lock screen that I didn't want to share with the forum. ;) So, I did the swipe right to left to close/clear/remove the notifications. Had no issues with that.

Interesting. I'll keep an eye out for that.

Already, the official 11.3 feels more stable. My weather widget (along with Be Weather 2 for comparison) are updating properly, including changes in geographical location. As is the watch complication.

I haven't had a notification respring yet, but I spent most of my evening updating my devices so I didn't have a ton of time spent with them.

The disappearing trick I only had happen once, so I assume it's rare.
[doublepost=1522413379][/doublepost]Interesting note-

I took my X, SE, and iPad Pro off of the beta, installed the official via OTA. I reinstalled the beta profile on the SE, and now the SE is telling me that beta 6 is newer than official.

- Have you ever done a battery calibration?
- Have you ever let the battery drain to 0% and then started to charge it until it reaches 100% to unplugged it?

Thank you.

Yea, I "had to" let it drain completely 1 or 2 times and later on charged till 95-100% (I'm often trying to unplug when it's at 90+%), but not right after buy.

To update your iPhone to iOS 11.3, Apple requires for no reason that you run OS X 10.10.5 or later and iTunes 12.7.3.

Thanks, Apple.

Thank you Apple for FINALLY fixing bluetooth phone sync issues with cars. I work at an Acura dealer and people have been so pissed for the last 6 months that their phonebooks weren't syncing with their cars. About damn time!

how is the performance for this update? is it worth updating to? i almost instantly update it due to the animoji but i want to make sure im not ****** this up and murder my phone with poorly written code

I have an iPhone X that I got on release date. The battery capacity is still at 100% (I never let it drain fully, but it did get to under 10% on a few occasions) and iOS 11.3 is running great. I also updated my company phone, which is a 3 year old iPhone 6 and it's running noticeably better than it was for the past few months. Ironically, the battery capacity is showing 96%, which is pretty impressive for an aging phone. I've lost count of how many times its battery has been fully drained.

I just updated to 11.3 (didn‘t have the beta installed) and when I first opened Messages, this bottom bar appeared saying „Messages in iCloud are deactivated. Repair Account“. I clicked the link but nothing happened and the bar disappeared. There is also no mention of messages on the iCloud settings page.

I've been thinking the same thing. It it not just essentially IMAP but for messages instead of email?

They were obviously fairly confident it would ship nearly a year ago, so interesting to think what the hold up could be.

I'm wondering if they are finding some unanticipated security issues with the implementation. Maybe code execution venerabllities, or the possibility of your message data leaking through to other users, etc. Just a guess on why it's taking so long....

The die-hard Android crowd over at Engadget will try to cover this by saying they still receive minor security updates whilst also trying to explain why they don’t need newer OS’s features.

Been there multiple times. It’s laughable.
It's so bad. Didn't get an update for my stock Note OS for 3 years. Even when it was updated 3 years later, it was to a version of Android 2 iterations old.

Hi All

So it seems they did remove cloud messaging from normal iOS 11.3 update.

However mine is still present which I was apart of beta [15E5216A]

We are talking about updates, .... but they are only bug fixes, and filling gaps in a system that is 10 years old!

(Regarding USB Audio to car no longer working)

Only if the cable is fried. Check that the third pin isn’t discoloured on either side.

@ErikGrim

Are you saying that you have the released version of 11.3, and have tried USB Audio in your car extensively and that it IS working reliably for you?

CAN OTHERS WHO HAVE TRIED lightning/USB AUDIO IN THEIR CAR PLEASE REPORT THEIR EXPERIENCES?

Sorry to be off topic....but anyone with a T-Mo phone notice that 11.3 prefers cellular over WiFi calling now? This is a pretty huge annoyance for me since my wife and I live in a densely populated area, and offloading our calls to WiFi was a huge upgrade. It was one of the major reasons for switching from big red....

Does this address the glitches in iMessage when the message window doesn’t show up? Or doesn’t properly rotate.
How about focus problems on the camera? I’ve been on 11.2 in my 8 plus and still have issues.

Same here, I'm on hold with Apple Support right now to report the issue. Hopefully they fix it ASAP

Update: After talking to Apple and T-Mobile, they confirmed that T-Mobile WiFi calling will only be enabled if there's a weak LTE signal. So right now, since I have a good LTE signal, calls are routed via cellular instead of WiFi.
