Apple have specifically stated that they provide a lead 1 ECG only targeted at a very specific and limited subset of heart problems and positioned for pre-diagnostic usage only, not to be treated as a full fledged medical device.

The cost, personnel, and wait time necessary for a 12 lead ECG means the vast majority of people on Earth will never receive one in their lifetimes. So to them, its completely useless.

You also missed the part where it was FDA cleared.

iPad already allows for long-press on notifications (which XR does not pre 12.1.1), but without haptics (which the XR will).

I assume it's the same build as the last Developer Beta(16C5050a)? This update is not showing up for me. Are we expecting a Watch OS update with the ECG function today as well?

Remove the beta profile and the update will show up (at least it did for me).
