well, i have notifications enabled for both mail and edison mail... need more emails to come through in order to be sure, but it def missed an email right after the update...

There is NO Automation in Shortcuts App, it's Reminders. Everything need at least one step from the user.
For example it's not possible to upload new photos automatically if iPhone connects to your WiFi at home. It only shows a reminder and ask, if you want to upload your new photos.

download is sloooooooow

was stuck on 28 minutes for ... minutes. then it went up to 29, 33 min.

Enabled Airplane mode, then switched off airplane mode, and it was instantly saying 13 minutes after resuming the download. Started writing this post, and now it says 2 seconds remaining and boom! prepping the update.

Get out of the slow lane, folks!

Does anyone know if Audio Sharing extends to phone calls—and if so, do both microphones work?

Yet when I tap my phone on a hidden nfc tag at my front door, my front door unlocks without me having to interact with the phone.

Skipped 13.0, installation was seamless on my 6s Plus. Had to enter my Apple ID password and rebuild Messages. I don’t see any of the reported 13.0 issues. Very happy and glad I waited.

Can anyone tell me if iOS 13 is also for the iPod Touch? (Yes, I have one. Great for listening to music when mowing the lawn instead of lugging around my iPhone XS Max!) I've tried the update on several occasions and.... nothing.

Unfortunately not I’m afraid. It is only supported by the latest iPod touch released this year https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2019/05/new-ipod-touch-delivers-even-greater-performance/

Unless you recently purchased this model, then your iPod will not be supported with iOS 13.

Just a reminder if you have the beta profile installed you will need to remove it to see the 13.1 upgrade.

No pun intended on you, but that is pretty obvious, as many others stated. However, the point of my post is that it is very odd to read that 'bigpoppa' stated otherwise on page 4:

Nope. Be patient, it WILL show up.

Wierd this unable to check update. Tried every tip ive found on internet. nothing helps. Cant remember ive ever had it before either.
