Yes, there’s no update if you’re on GM. Just make sure you’ve deleted the beta profile if you want to remain on stable releases going forward.
I am curious if the GM is the same as what they released today.

I remember last time - it was not and I had to manually download the ipsw file and do the update myself.
I guess I will be waiting for others to share the version.
Kudos for the first one to post the build number ;)

That is a 13.1 beta. You won't get the iOS 13 release version. You'll have to wait until 13.1 comes out, on Sept. 30.

I am on the 13.0 GM and got no update. So I'm wondering if it may be the same 17A577 build.

It's the same build.

i'm gonna sleep. lols. still not available in itunes. I only update via itunes since it flushes out all cache files in the phone as well.

First update from Apple I’m skipping (just 13.0, not all of iOS 13)

We’ve watched through the years how Apple went from shipping the whole package, to slipping features, to this year, where even more features slipped and quality and stability is on a razor’s edge of acceptable. A bunch of iPhone 11 reviews mention how bad iOS 13 is.

My hope is there is some reflection inside of Apple to stop this trend. Clearly they will listen sooner or later (usually later) as we have seen with battery life in iOS and hopefully soon to get rid of the junk keyboards.

Why? Old phone has 12.something, new phone has 13.something, backups are always restorable to a LATER version. Just not an earlier one.
Restore and file transfer are not the same. File transfer is the feature where both phones are close by and the new phone recognizes the old and transfers the data. They must be on the same OS.

Interesting that they pulled it forward by a week, when 13.0 will be only 5 days old.

I’m pretty sure the lock screen bypass bug is the reason. They likely wouldn’t have even released iOS 13 if not for the iPhone 11.

It could simply be that they feel 13.1 is in a good enough shape that it's pretty much ready to go and there isn't much of a need to wait for the sake of waiting essentially.
